Something else I have a question about is the "commands" to control your buff bot. You send it cmd's on macro buttons or type them but do you send them in group say or tells or does it matter? I would assume you would send the cmds in form of a /tell (so if grouped people would not be wise to the bot) but since I am new I better ask.
I just finished reading through all the info. (wow lots) and didn't see where it address using a pet as the tank and setting it to target and heal the pet. Did I just miss that in there or is it not possible.

Ok I got this working last night and WOW, WAY COOL! I do have some problems I can't seem to get ironed out.
I am using a Inquis. in Buffbot only mode and having him follow around my necro. I send in the pet and Inquis. goes into fight mode (auto attack) and casts heals and dmg. spells at targeted mob. This looks goofy as hell because the Inquis. is following my Necro in attack mode so I have to jocky around to get him next to the mob. to attack it. I would rather the Inquis. not be in attack mode (auto attack) as he looks guilty as hell (atleast in Buffbot only mode).
The other problem is how do you get the botted char. to accept smds from me? I modified the request (per instructions) and set them on hotbuttons but nothing is happening. I have tried dending them in /tell and in /gsay but he won't respond and there are no errors in the log.
Anyway I had a blast last night with both my toons, CL's will never be the same! Thanks for a great script.
P.S.
I love the comments this thing makes in tells, freaked me out the first few times!

loraik,
(!empty($user->lang['QUOTE'])) ? $user->lang['QUOTE'] : ucwords(strtolower(str_replace('_', ' ', 'QUOTE'))): am using a Inquis. in Buffbot only mode and having him follow around my necro. The buffbot is in fightback mode. You can send the bot tells of "fight back" or "stand down" to toggle this. With my templar I leave him in fight back mode. In the per mob seq. I set a few debuffs up and the in the combat seq. I set on DD with a just set the delay to 12s so it's not casting the DD every 3 seconds. Works pretty well and only looks bad to me when the healer is facing the wrong direction. Which happens about 50% of the time. But there isn't much you can do about that since it happens because autofollow is on. Also, (!empty($user->lang['QUOTE'])) ? $user->lang['QUOTE'] : ucwords(strtolower(str_replace('_', ' ', 'QUOTE'))): The other problem is how do you get the botted char. to accept smds from me? Make sure you are set ad a valid master and it should do the commands. Remember this is case sensitive. Also, I think the tell commands are case sensitive too. Might be wrong about that though.

Ok got him to take cmds (I was missing the case sen. part) but when I tell him to stand down he stops nuking as well as autoattack. I am just wanting to stop autoattack since I really don't need him to melee. Should I maybe just not assign a autoattack key?

Take out any combat seq with a ~ and will only be able to auto attack if on fight back mode. You could setup combat response strings and make tell command to have him nuke if you wanted.
example: Blast dis mofo,qb2,Smite,2,2s,3s,TARGET
Then just make a social hotkey /tell whoever blast dis mofo
That would be a way you could take out any attacks but still have the ability to do combat spells if you wanted. I'm not sure why you wouldn't want the Inq. to do some offensive debuffs and what not though. I have 3 different teams and all of my healers have some kind of offensive seq. configured that helps a ton. Ussually per mob debuffs and what not. I leave it set to cut off offensive attacks spells at 50%.

I am running with a solo Berzerker (fighter), and I seem to have a problem that occurs only sometimes. When I start it, it runs fine, as it is supposed to, but sometimes it will halt at conning a mob. The script says
'Green found - ATTACK!', but if its out of range, the bot just stands still and does nothing. It will tab through mobs, and say 'Green found - ATTACK!' everytime it finds a green. seems to bug, and just loop that part.
Has anyone else experienced this?

Is there anyway to make the bot cast from a item if you have the item linked to a hot bar? Thinking about wand damage when you tell them to conserve power at a certain % they can got to their item nukes.

I experience the same thing as phatfuture:
Bot targets a mob thats out of range, and as he's doing that, he doesn't see the 25 valid mobs behind his back, out of sight because tab only swithes between what is in view. And since he's thinking he's got a valid target, he doesn't reload the mobslist, that seems to be able to make him turn around a start hunting something else.
If you manually turn your char around, he restarts, but only untill he clears the area and starts focusing on an 'out of range' mob and freezes again.
Any possibility to have him make a 180° turn after a certain amount of time targeting an out or range mob would help alot here
Something I'm having problems with, after hours and hours of testing is when bot is around aggro mobs :
When he's 'tabbing around' possible targets and gets attacked while he is targetting 'plains_funghi_001' , the bot stays focused on the target he was on (out of range target of a harvest node) and gets horribily beaten to death, without defending himself.
This actually prevents using the bot in a 'hostile environment', and once you've had the crabs on Nectulous beach, there isn't much you can do with it at level 25, unless you want to see your bot getting killed every half hour.

phatfuture - it does that sometimes for me but make sure you have adjusted the MaxTargettingDistance and that should help. Sometimes i notice if it gets toward the edge of the run radius it will get stuck doning that.
loraik - Yes. Anything that is in a hotbar can be used. Example say you have a social hot key set in the BuffSequenceSTR to have another character cast sow on you every 30 minutes. Say the hot key does /tell playerx sow please. It would look something like this in the string qb2,sow please,4,1s,1800s. I don't have any clickable items like that but I would assume they have a delay and recast time just like spells so treat it like a spell or make up the cast time and delay until it works right for you. But I'm pretty sure the item will show it's own delay and recast time by examining it.

I haven't tried it yet but I think the only way to fire off a spell from a item is to right click and hit "use". Can you do that inside the script? I will try tonight to just click on the item to see if it fires off the nuke.

Where do you guys hunt past lvl 25 ?
Until 25 you can solo crabs in all flavors and sizes. (Antonica, TS, Nektulos)
They don't aggro, so you're not in danger of getting killed by a bunch of adds and they come in groups of maximum 3. My fighter has turned 25 now, an I was looking for a spot with non aggro, lvl 23-27 mobs.
Does such place exist ?

No, it does not. A way to do it is to go to an instance with repops, and only do 1-2 mobs and wait for respawns, but its slow and ineffective.
What I did was use 2pp to equip my zerker in full feysteel at 30, and now im soloing green/blue ^^ giants in TS. (well, i was, now i moved to RoV to do golems).

When you hit low 40's you could try EF out before you get to perma, there is a large portion of non-agro mobs out there with a few mixed in agro mobs. at lvl 42 most are yellow to orange cons. and super easy solos for a pet class. Only problem is the Ghost of the dude and his bear (remember from back in EQlive) that roamed Everfrost pops and roams that area also. But he seems to be kinda rare as I don't see him up alot. Just a thought.

richyrich";p="66247 (!empty($user->lang['WROTE'])) ? $user->lang['WROTE'] : ucwords(strtolower(str_replace('_', ' ', 'WROTE'))): kraven2";p="66207 (!empty($user->lang['WROTE'])) ? $user->lang['WROTE'] : ucwords(strtolower(str_replace('_', ' ', 'WROTE'))): I noticed something odd today. I had my healer in a full group but the script window that lists the group members and their health % was missing one of the group members. I noticed that this happened right when we invited a necromancer to the group, it seems to have dropped the last group member and listed the pet instead. When the necromancer dropped from the group, the window dropped the necromancer and his pets name, and relisted the other member again.
I figured it may have just written the name offscreen or something, but after that persons health dropped below 60%(my heals are set to start at 75%, and secondary heals to kick in at 60%) the healer never attempted to target them and heal.
I had the same thing happen again after we invited a different necromancer to the group, not sure if its just necros, or all pet classes. I'll have to check with a full group, most I've checked with is 5 in a group and it worked flawless - i'll also make the window bigger to make sure you can see it or not, so if it's not there, you know he's not being monitored
Did you ever check out this problem with it not reading all the people in group when there is a pet class in group? I had this happen again tonight, this time with a conjuror so it's definately something with the summoner classes. When the conjuror was the 3rd person listed in the group, it listed everyone but the person in the last spot, and then listed the pet on the line below.
I disbanded the conjuror and reinvited him to put him into the last(was the 5th person in group so in the 4th) slot, and it listed everyone but the conjuror and his pet. I hit the button to refresh it finding masters and stuff, but it wouldn't pick the conjuror or his pet up in that slot.
Another problem I encountered with it finding group members was when everyone(full group of 6) but one person zoned to a new zone. The person who didn't zone in was in the 3rd spot(greyed out). When the bot looked for the masters again, it only saw the people listed before the person who didn't zone. The 2 people past the greyed out one weren't listed.
Hope this info helps.

Great Script!
Here are some suggestions on fixing the current problems:
typing precombat buffs into the chat bar --- this is caused due to trying to loot a simple way to get by that is just send ESC after hitting enter
Too far away from char -- do this (pulled out my !@#$%^&* but logic should work)
Instead of
(!empty($user->lang['CODE'])) ? $user->lang['CODE'] : ucwords(strtolower(str_replace('_', ' ', 'CODE'))): ' Run to the mob, they are too far away! ' @@@@ Make this a user def variable Call RunToLoc(mobX, mobY, -1, FALSE, MaxTargettingDistance)
do (!empty($user->lang['CODE'])) ? $user->lang['CODE'] : ucwords(strtolower(str_replace('_', ' ', 'CODE'))): 'Call RunToLoc(mobX, mobY, -1, FALSE, MaxTargettingDistance) Dim RunToLocTries RunToLocTries = 0 Do While ((CalcDisToTarget(getMobX(oEQ2Service, spawnID), getMobY(oEQ2Service, spawnID)) > MaxTargettingDistance) and (RunToLocTries<5)) mobX=getMobX(oEQ2Service, spawnID) mobY=getMobY(oEQ2Service, spawnID) Call RunToLoc(mobX, mobY, -1, FALSE, MaxTargettingDistance) RunToLocTries = RunToLocTries+1 Loop
I don't know VBS very well but in theory that should work...
