What would be a good strategy for a Necromancer/ranger be for the doppleganger?

just fill up your bar with nature rituals, then the doppleganger will spend the whole time casting nature ritual and won't attack(unless you don't think you can kill him before he cast 8 nature rituals)

sprint
sever artery
gash
galrath slash
power attack
battle rage [elite]
healing signet
endure pain

i just used battle rage and cycled between sever artery, gash and galrath slash.

i beat the dopple first time in ~12 seconds.

Hmmm

The only problem there is he will use endure pain also

= u cant get battle rage unless u run to dronkors

The only problem there is he will use endure pain also

= u cant get battle rage unless u run to dronkors

equip frenzy, let him use it then take him out with a sword, have perhaps one batle skill.

Well I haven't tried this myself but maybe if you're a warrior that uses swords, then you could fill up you're skills with sword only stuff then go into battle with an axe. Then the doppleganger would appear with sword skills and an axe so you could just switch back to your sword.

Well I haven't tried this myself but maybe if you're a warrior that uses swords, then you could fill up you're skills with sword only stuff then go into battle with an axe. Then the doppleganger would appear with sword skills and an axe so you could just switch back to your sword.

That wouldn't work cuz the first time I faced the doppleganger and I was a R/Me it pulled a sword on & shield on me.

I've got a w/n and was a little disappointed when I tried it...my health never got below 50% and I got the bonus, so it couldn't have taken too long. I didn't have any of my necro skills - maybe that made a difference. I was lvl 20 already and put everything in strength, axe mastery and tactics. My doppleganger also had a bow, which made no sense at all.
