Easy Balthazar Faction : GW Submissions

If you need to unlock skills and are running low on faction, the easiest way to get more is a the Zaishen Elite arena. To get here you must beat 5 of the 6 teams in the normal Zaishen Arena. (The easiest way to do this is to use a trapper group).



Here you can earn up to 6,000 Balthazar faction in less than 20 minutes. (The daily limit per account is 6k)



This arena can be very difficult as the NPC's run a number of different builds, all with their strengths and weaknesses. In the Challenge you will be facing IWAY warriors, Illusionary Weaponry Mesmers, "Victory Is Mine" Trappers, a balanced Team, and an Obsidian Flame spike group. You will face the teams in a completely random order, and each round you win more NPC's will be added to the opposing team.



The best team build that I have found for this (I get the 6k max every time without dying) is to have 1 Ele, 2 Rangers, and a Rit (can use hero rit).



Builds:

Fire 12+

Energy storage 12+





Savannah Heat (elite)

Searing Heat

Teinai's Heat

Breath of Fire

Meteor Shower

Glyph of Sacrifice (use before meteor shower)

Fire Attunement

Immolate (for any stragglers)



Ranger/Anything

Both rangers can use the trapper build of their liking, an example of an easy one is:



Expertise 12+

Wilderness Survival 12+



Trapper's Speed (or) Serpent's Quickness

Spike Trap (or if u have barbed trap) Tripwire

Dust Trap (a must)

Flame Trap (good idea)

Barbed (is using Tripwire)

Troll Unguent (incase you get a degen)

Pestilence

Lightning Reflexes



(Again that is just a basic trapper build for this, there are many that would work just fine, just make sure that one of the traps included will knock them down.)




The Ritualist. I have this build set up on my hero and he runs it fine, just make sure to manually use Frozen Soil and Shelter.



Rit/Ranger



Spawning Power about 9

Restoration Magic about 9

Communing about 8 or 9

Wilderness all the rest goal is to have Frozen soil at about 60 seconds



Preservation (elite, not needed but helpful)

Shelter (this keeps u alive against Ele spike)

Union (also keeps alive against ele spike)

Recuperation

Rejuvenation

Mend Body and Soul

Spirit Light

Frozen Soil (most important skill keep up at all times)



Usage:



When you first get in have the Rit move to the back of the waiting area, if it is a hero it will automatically cast preservation which is fine. Make sure that you have Frozen Soil off b/c it will cast it automatically too and it will be too early. Have the Trappers go to the gate and start laying traps. They put their traps in a good spot so that the NPCs can’t run past without triggering them.



When there is about 5 seconds left on the timer before the gates open, manually the rit's Frozen soil, Shelter, and Union. Then the Ele should move up right behind the trappers and cast Fire Attunement. Everyone should hold there ground unless it is the Ele spike group then you should fall back half way to the rit (beware, the ele group will go after the spirits and frozen soil first, try to keep them from it) when the enemies come into sight the ele should use Glyph of Sac, and then wait till the NPCs are right over the traps and use Meteor Shower (which will cast instantly because of GoS) then continue to use the rest of the area effecting skills. The combo of the traps and the ELe's nukes should kill all but a few stragglers which are easily killed with inferno.



If you do everything right you will get the maximum Balthazar faction with little difficulty every time.



Notes:



-Keep Frozen Soil up at all times

-Can be done with one trapper but more difficult

-Savannah Heat can be replaced for Sandstorm, but make sure to keep meteor shower

-stupid trappers can lead to quick death

-Keep Eles away from Spirits
