the best build for your ascension in the prophecies campaign would have to be an ss nec/mes build. I know it sounds kind of strange but it works really well. put all of your skills that hurt the enemy when they attack you on the right end of your skill bar, ss should be #8 because dg casts them in order from left to right. cast ss, then all of your other spells that hurt the dg when he attacks, and then dont do anything( you should end up using 3 or 4 skills) then add a bunch of blood magic skills to your skill bar before you face him so that he ends up sacraficing most of his health. he will eventually kill himself.
