New Armor in Chapter 2????? : GW Guide Discussion

I heard that in chapter 2 they will be releasing a new armor which will require rubies and saphire instead of the usual ecto for Fow armor. My question is can someone confirm this. If so i want to spend more of my money buying these items already got 20 of each but don't want to buy more and waste my money. I've notice the price of saphire and rubies has gone up to like 7k now for rubies. Can someone confirm this

I don't think anybody (other than the game developers) knows for sure whether rubies or sapphires will have a use in chapter 2. They've hinted that they will, but it's impossible to say. People are speculating and moving away from ecto and towards items like rubies and sapphires that never had a purpose in the first chapter.

People have been speculating about rubies and sapphires for months and months. since way before the summer update even. so i don't think for now people will be moving away from ecto. they will still use ecto for trading and so on. as these people will want to horde their saphires and rubies in anticapation of the update.

I have heard that rumor too, I don't believe we will know for sure before it happens though.

They said it might be used for jewlery... thats what i heared
