Anything type of farming bot or leveling bot would be so godly. But i would suggest making it for premium members only =P.

Yah the major thing would be an open area farming/levelling tool. I have no experience with Xunleashed but will be signing up for membership soon. As such I'm not sure of it's capabilities (other than it's a mem reader?) but thought I'd throw in my thoughts anyway.
Having tried to work and refine regular macros to L2, I simply find them a little too unreliable due to a lack of features or commands.
The key things for an open area hunting macro that I've seen are:
1. Need a defined hunting area - was unable to use the /loc command or any other means to set a limit to how far the char will travel to kill a mob. Although open mobs are not spawn point bound, they do spawn within area boundaries.
2. Need hunting lists for an area - this was easy enough with macros and using the /target [mob name]. However char also needs to recognise aggro groups or nearest target attacking. The problem is the acquisition of trains of mobs, due to attacking 1 beside two pals for example, or running through aggro mobs to get to a target.
3. Not attacking purple PC chars would be a bonus too. Could be achieved with a database/target checklist maybe.
4. Health checks and resting is an obvious need. Problems here include checking a mobs health as you move to attack it - if it's health drops before you get there it has been engaged and ideally you should retarget to avoid KS and the hassle associated. As for personal health, resting and using abilities is needed but also responding if attacked or perhaps moving to a set rest point?
Other nice things would obviously be PC information and if possible mob itineraries.
Again I really don't know what Xunleashed is truly capable of so I may be way off the mark, I just heard good things from a few friends though about the group behind it.

XU has quite a bit of things that it can do. Memory reading is just as the very basic level. It has full macro recording and playback, and a very nice scripting engine. What you are describing will require the scripting engine along with a small memory reading tool. There are other plugins available as you can see in the misc and general plugin sections that may or not appeal to you.

Would like to see Radar/Map along with player/mob health, level, etc. If L2 show the drop info of a mob like EQ does, that too.

Accually I was planning on adding all of the above mentioned stuff once Wyv works out the mob co-ords and other stuff into a plugin. I was hoping to even write a setup for mages and archers to hunt slower mobs and have the character retreat as it attacked while avoiding other aggro mobs(such as Liriens near Elf Village).
It seems like it would be fairly simple if I had access to all the x/y/z co-ordinates..
Oh I forgot.. also as soon as I can get XU to work with darn Win 2k Prof!!! =)

I plan to do some work on scripting myself as well, hopefully contributing to some communal efforts that will undoubtably appear on this board.
However, I'm not clued up on memory reading, and if Wyvern was able to produce a plugin that would be able to supply the basic information (player hp/mn, loc, mob hp/mn), I'm positive I could do something much better than I have been able so far with other '3rd party macro tools'.

Yes, I will get that out probably this weekend. I have already stared on it.
Would it help to go ahead and have a radar too?

Will this program be easy to use, for someone who hasnt used it before?
i.e. will it be a case of Install > d/l script > load > run?

I think that is a best case scenario.. as in all things dealing with computers.. expect problems =)
The admins/helpers here are pretty good and they have fast response times to messages and problems so even if problems are encountered you can expect they help you within a reasonable amount of time.
On the case of compatibility I still have my questions(still waiting on win2k support) J/king .. =)
More seriously though they are very good programmers so expect as few problems as possible..
If I code a bot for this forum I will be sure and help as much as I can with peoples problems. I regularly read these forums for new posts and peoples problems will help me refine my code to be as error free and compatibility safe as possible.
We are Ophidian, Resistance is futile.

Well, ive been messing about with macros recently, pretty much self taught myself enough about them to edit them to my needs.
This Xunleashed thing sounds too good to be true though :]
If and when a script is released, that allows me to play ln2 without having to do the monotous point click for hours on end [:-banghead], i will defo be registering and downloading a copy.
So keep up the good work [:D]
