Not trying to be rude, but might there be an ETA on that patch update and script/plugins?

I am working on the next patch for l2. Had to add some win98 functions. Ugh.
I should have the next patch ready by the weekend.

Admin... could you give me an idea what's not working for L2? I'm running it on XP and I've done run some of the demo scripts without problem and working on some of mine own. I guess it probably doesn't matter because by the time I've got anything working you should have done your bit anyway!

Right now I think the problem is that some of the XP functions he coded aren't compatible with Windows 2000... Thats why he mentioned adding some win98 functions as alternatives.. Kinda wierd to me though because I coulda sworn XP was coded off the Win2k
kernal..
In the end I keep comming to the conclusion microsoft sucks =)

Aye, those are the ones. They seem to work fine for me in XP. I've started working on a library that gets game information as Wyvern seems to be absent at the moment. I didn't think Wyvern was actually part of the project team, more a long term user, so I figured I have no right to moan if he doesn't actually get round to doing a L2 library/plugin. So, I've started and if he can commit some time then maybe we can work together on it in the future. It will definitely be a while before I come up with enough game information to make a decent script anyway.

If you could comeup with the library/plugin that got the game info.. I would be more than happy to write a decent script..

What L2 script forum? There's only 2.. general and tutorials
Anyway, I'm waiting for Admin to get his next patch up with some promises for me *grin* and then we'll see about posting something useful. At the moment, there's nothing different from what's already available from other 3rd party tools.

I thought I'd let you guys know that I've had to rethink my methods of getting a decent bot running L2. I was capturing screen information, but its so unreliable I don't think it's worth it. There are a couple of bots out there that work ok in limited situations and carrying on down this route wouldn't be adding anything to overall L2 scene.
It'll be a while before I have anything to contribute to be honest, hopefully someone else will come up with something useful in the meantime.

If you are capturing screen stuff, be SURE that you are not checking for exact pixels, but rather only check Red > xx at x,y. etc.
