Gates of Kryta Farming: A Different Way : GW Submissions

The most common farming in the Gates of Krytais to leave the area and just kill all of the enemies and they drop relatively good items, but there is another, more bountyful location to farm from the Gates.

To begin the farming you need a good class, i sucsesfully use a Warrior/Monk with a max Chaos axe of Fortitude +4, and a max Shield. I use the best skills for the axe, Mending, Healing Breeze, Orison of Healing, and Power Attack. But any farming character should be good.

You will average about 700gp, and lots of items. My average income is 2-2.5k if you go all the way through.

Part I

To begin the farming, you need to enter the mission. Follow the path untill you can turn left towards the house where the pig is. Talk to the pig so he follows you. Go towards the house through the fence gate. Go behind the house and follow the path down the hill. There should be some Gouls and Hellhounds. Pull them up the hill and try to stay clear of the Warlocks. Once they die, a large amount of enemies appear. Just keep attacking and healing yourself. If you ever run low on health, walk backwards and the pig should keep attacking the enemies while you regain your health. Don't worry the pig won't die because the enemies won't attack him. Countinue attacking and falling back untill all the enemies are dead, then move down the rest of the hill towards the Warlocks. Turn left at the bottom of the hill and follow that path.

Part II

While following the path you should come up to 2 hellhounds and a warlock, pull them and kill them. Then countinue to the Archer and hellhounds. After you kill them you will come up to a long line of archers, mesmers, and hellhounds. Don't worry about dieing agianst them, they won't move, or attack you back.

Part III

There will be a small gap between two mountains that you can follow. Follow it and atack the next set of hellhounds and Warlock, this time they will attack back. If you turn to the right in the mountain there will be a passage with two groups of hellounds and warlocks. Kill them and come back out. COuntinue through the gap and pull the skeleton archers and mesmers. Dont be afraid to run away, the pig will hold the enemies of while you run.

Part IV

The final stage is the hardest. You will come into the swamp area after you finish the mountain pass, you can countinue to fight across. There will be many skeleton enemies in groups and can be difficult to win by yourself.

The farming is a little long but it gives you many items. You can stop at any one of the parts and still get great items, it just depends how long you want to farm for.

ummmm this is old news and i belive that they fixed the glitch with the non moving monsters a couple of weeks ago.
