Which MO to choose! : GW Guide Discussion

A lot of people have the question which form of healer is best? The E/Mo or the Mo/Me. After a little while of experience I have found that the E/Mo works best. Who doesn't want to heal until the end of day? Why is this you may ask? Well I believe in the theory quantity over quality. The E/Mo with 12 Energy Storage and 12 Healing Prayers you have loads of energy and probably don't plan on running out at any time during a PvP or large PvE battle. You pump out healing while others wait for their regen. The healing may not be as much but you can constantly spam Orison of Healing and Word of Healing. With this said you will easily be healing for 140 Health every 3 seconds. Course Mo/Me will be healing for 30 to 40 more but they will have to wait after about 5 or 6 of those to wait for regen. As for you, you will never run out of mana because with All Seeing Eye Headgear and a Minor Energy Storage rune you will have over 75 energy. This build is far more dedicated to healing too. You should never even think about adding damage attacks. As a E primary you may not be focused on either once in a PvP battle. Here is the build that I use:

Best Focus

umm I'm no mod but I don't think this should be here and all it is spam. You should edit your post before a mod see's it, and the mod will prob suspend or ban you.

And if you want exploits and stuff why not pay $25 or submit an exploit, or macro you know, to get premium membership for free?

i have a ele/mo and if u want to be a ele in group mo i feel is useless

most ele spells (the good ones) cost a lot of energy and takes time to cast
so if u also dedicate urself to healing .....you wont be healing much....

even with the massive energy storage of an ele, you don't have stuff like hex breaker, strip/drain enchant, channeling(energy management), mantra of frost etc etc

In a good pvp group, usually there is a necro who will carry blood ritual also for energy regen, however a characteristic of a great monk is energy management and knowing how to use your energy effectively.

i assume your post was about a pve character, just a heads up also - in pvp restore life is really useless as the toon you resurrect will get dropped asap without full hp (carry res signet instead) and healing breeze is really a waste of a skill slot also as the hp regen is much less than the damage being dealt usually.
