XUMovieMaker version 1.0 Beta

I have added the XUMovieMaker plugin to the Standard Plugins. Currently since it is in beta, you must register it manually. Click on the Plugins tab. Click on Manual Register Plugin. Then, navigate to the StandardPlugins folder in your xunleashed directory. Select the XUMovieMaker.dll and click open.

This plugin currently supports all .avi codecs that you may have installed on your system as well as Streaming Windows Video (.wmv) files. Please see the forums in the announcements area for movie encoding codecs. I highly recommend the DiVX Codec above all else. http://www.divx.com/divx


Feel free to use the XUnleashed Servers to house your movie files. Just attach them to a forum thread.


Attached is a sample movie recorded in the Windows Media 9 - 1500 bps codec. (available free from microsoft.com)


Once I get a few more testers feedback, I'll add it to the core XUnleashed plugins.

Note, you can only record Microphone sound. If you want to record game sounds while playing your game, you will need to put a microphone up to the speakers.

Any comments on the XUMovieMaker plugin?

Is it stable enough for release as a Core Plugin?
