tibiascale, what OS are you running? Some have said that they were having a difficult time with mouse movements on Win98 and WinME.

Also, make sure you have checked in the options tab of XU, ignore DirectInput.

If SWG has the option someplace, try turning on Enable HardwareMouse.

Not sure about the error 32 sounds like you are missing some system dll.

I know that XP will fix it, but i'm not sure what to try with ME as I dont have it to play around to see what it might be.

So, the only thing that doesnt work, is the mouse clicks? The mouse movement works, just not the clicks?

That error is just for the video mode. SWG uses a video format that is not XU compatible directly.

sorry i missed that request about the weaponsmithing information back in august, but here's the answer:

I crafted metal-only gunbarrels the whole way to master smith. I haven't played swg in a while, so I forget the exact metal type, but you can fill all three slots of the recipe with it. Makes the macro a bit faster and more simple to only use one resource pile. I ran two accounts and was PA funded at the time, so I used up 18/20 of my lots on harvesters. I just stuck them all on a 90%+ deposit of said metal type, checked back once a day and macro'd through whatever was harvested. I made the smith administrator on the fighter's harvs; the only drawback is having to move on resource shift :) my macro was fairly simple and prevented tool jamming. set up two crafting kits, make two gunbarrels manually, start recording, using all mouse movement destroy the two gunbarrels, then using as little mouse movement as possible craft two more and put carriage returns where i stated before (make them fast and you will never have an over-return problem), and end the macro as the second gunbarrel is finished. this macro is a tad slower than a pure power macro for gunbarrels, but it is totally automated in that it will keep your inventory from overloading and jamming your tool, thereby killing the macro before you are out of resources. you can do a faster one with no destroying if you are around to stop the macro and destroy the gb's, but i work 12 hour night shifts, so i would burn tons of materials while at work with only resources as my limitation :)

If the goal is powerleveling, then it is better to use practice mode for possibly two reasons:

1. The item never actually gets crafted, so there is no need to destroy what you craft or worry about the crafting tool getting jammed due to a full inventory.

2. It has been said that practice mode actually gives you a little more XP per item crafted.
