royobannen1 (!empty($user->lang['WROTE'])) ? $user->lang['WROTE'] : ucwords(strtolower(str_replace('_', ' ', 'WROTE'))): Hmmm, I will have to try this tonight when I get home. Just didn't think it would work using a client side mod like that.
Me eather. He desearves some good points for this. Pretty smart way to do it.

Hmm... if PSGs mods are indeed client-side... Then why not make a mod that 'masks' certain weapons, like V5 Lava Cannons, so that you can retrofit 'em and add mods?
Oh, and yay.

I wonder if you moded regular armor, lets say boots, to look like a chestplate - I wonder if you could put an exotic on it.

I am attempting that as we speak :p
I will post my findings. So far I have discovered that a simple appearance mod wont work, so I'm trying to switch the OBJECT files at the moment

Tried it, it will actually say 'Are you sure you wish to combine these objects?' then it just won't apply, but it really asks you instead of not doing anything

I tried modding the composite armor pieces to all appear as chestplates. I even switched the object files, but I still could not get them to act as chestplates when applying mods.

Well, you're 1/2 way there it seems... Looks like you'll need to edit all of the info the same way this mod was.

Yes, I switched the appearance and object files like the PSG > Holster mod did. The only other things switched were textures and palettes and theres no reason they would have any effect on socketing.
Is there any way we could resocket jewelry and mod it this way? Somebody better at modding please try this for me :p
