Can we possibly alter jewelry so they could be retrofitted? Maybe change them to look like a droideka psg?

Nah, the psg already had a socket but was just messed up and didn't allow any attachments.

It's a non-exotic mod that works in any armor or clothing piece.

some idiot (wenbo) on farstar decided to show these off in the trade forums and selling them for 40m each. since he done that many are getting it after finding out about it so itll be nerfed at some point soon esp if they pop up on the official forums

How can I use this with other items? Eg. make a piece of jewelry appear as a crafted shirt? Or make any one item appear as a different item?

I've tried making gloves appear as a chestplate, and using exotic mods - no dice. I get the "are you sure?" box when attempting to apply the SEA, but it doesnt stick.
I've also attempted to swap a crafted armor bracer for a statted backpack, to attempt retrofitting and it wont work.
