As we announced a few days ago (
http://forum.cabalonline.com/showthread.php?t=23724), Games-Masters.com are pleased to announce the introduction of our very own CABAL Comic. Based in the lands of Nevareth, the comic aims to look at many of the issues which surround the game, providing a new and humorous slant on many existing debates and features of CABAL Online.
To ensure the comic is of the highest standard, we have hired our very own illustrator to draw the images. Yet instead of getting him to write storylines and plots for a game he has never played, we want YOU to get involved. Each month we will ask YOU (the community) to submit a plot and outline for the comic, with the winning entry being used as the basis for the comics plot.
This is a fantastic opportunity for you to get involved and is perfect not only for the comic fanatic but also for those who enjoy writing and making humorous sketches. So how do you get involved and what do we require from you?
The Rules
* Entries must be submitted to
comic@cabalonline.com by the date given
* Games-Masters.com will provide the theme for the Comic; your task is to then create the scene by scene storyline
* This should include the following details; where is the scene (attached with screenshot if possible)? Which characters are in the scene? Which class are these characters? What actions are the characters doing? What are the characters saying?
* Each entry must be between 6-8 scenes.
* This is a comic and as such the text must be limited
* No drawings are needed. Your entry should just be descriptive and well written text
* Winning entries will successfully take the topic and portray it in a humorous way via the actions in the scene and the text the characters are saying.
February Contest
* Entries must be submitted to
comic@cabalonline.com by the 24th February
* The topic of the month is the differences between premium and free-to-play. How does the game experience differ? How does a players experience differ? Remember to portray this topic in a funny and entertaining way. Such ideas could include looking at dummies, inability of free players to warp etc.
Please feel free to use the discussion thread to ask any further questions (

We look forward to your entries!
