Firstly I would like to thank you all for your patience during today’s maintenance.

As we announced earlier today, we took the servers offline to perform a number of hardware upgrades. These upgrades were essential to the continued smooth running of the game.

During this evening we have upgraded a number of the server’s hard disks to allow us larger storage; this was a lengthy process and involved a lot of backups and data integrity checks to ensure that nothing was lost along the way. Along with this we installed a new NAS storage system for future growth.

Along with changes to the existing systems a number of new systems were put in place, these are in readiness for us to open a new world in the not too distant future. I’m sure that many of you will welcome this addition to CABAL Online.

We understand that the timing has not been the most convenient, however we do have to work with a number of external people and this had to be managed with an available schedule at the data centre and also around equipment delivery.

Again I would like to thank you all for your patience and I hope that you enjoy getting back in game. Watch this space for future announcements related to the next world set as we will keep you updated along the way.
