So if you didnt play the beta well then you are brand new to this feeling, but i think i figured it out. Diablo 2 is a great game, while diablo 3 is a good game. I think the main reasoning is the excitement from loot is gone. Here is my reasoning for the faults and how to fix them.

Blue/Yellow/Brown - They dont matters
This is because all stats are randomly generated. In d2 certain weapons on could have certain stats so all rare swords had a purpose. Now i can get a rare sword with intelligence which makes it totally pointless. Make set items far more frequent for all levels. Every class should have one set for every 10 levels, or even more. All i know is i have seen one set item this whole game which was junk. Unless we know squat about crafting this is very disappointing.

Over saturation is coming -
This game is easy to farm and with that the items will go away. Blizzard seemed to want to do the wow style here which is going to make the game hurt over a longer period of time. Nothing will have really much value at all and money will be pointless very soon. This will make the auction house pointless too. If blizzard brought back a few forms of gambling this would be awesome. Or add the following tricks.
- Removing runes comes with a 25% chance the weapon breaks.
- Spend 100k gold and have a 50/50 chance to get an item upgraded. This makes normals worth while again.
- Allow people to auction money to get stuff. The blacksmith sorta does it but it should be a higher value.
- If weapons break they need a special rune to repair them which is rare to find.
- Bring back ethereal items for top things that need that special rune or something to repair them.
- When gems are upgraded there is a 25% chance it will shatter.

Adding a fear of losing items, but with great rewards is what the game was all about. I don't know how they forgot about this one.

The goblins suck
Yes i know you get a higher mf in the game when you hit 60, but the goblin drops almost always blue. Why not make him drop one yellow for sure that's good.

Boss loot sucks
I know they want to stop players from farming bosses so why not make a rule. Call it true loot. You must play the ENTIRE act over again from the start with or without friends. Then you can get good loot from the boss and if on hell all mobs can drop great loot it wont matter what act you do, of course though higher bosses better loot.

Auction house needs a few tweaks.
- Search for any item
- show only buyouts, non buyouts, or both.
- All a price range. 46 pages seems to be the cap and its hitting fast now. I cant find any items around 60k for some general weapons ect ect.

The Ease of normal
It feels like they just want you to rush thru normal and hit 60 asap. Why not make normal plus where its harder overall, i know there is hardcore mode but frankly that mode is not going to be much fun when a simple dc can ruin the entire game for you.

When you are 60 you get the 5 stacks of nephlam buff which gives a crazy magic find bonus. I've had bosses drop 8 blues and 3 yellows at times. You can just swap MF gear right before you kill bosses, elites, and globlins too.

no it definitely helps yellow drops. Where I usually got none now I can get two. So you can farm act 1 inferno with the 5 stack buff. You just clear every little nook and cranny of an area and get a buncha stuff.

Someone pointed out there is a buyout max button so that might take care of part of the auction house stuff. Also blizzard did say that while the numbers seem low they wanted the game out first, and in comparison this game has way more than when diablo 2 first shipped. They had a long post of how people are comparing diablo 2, after it had multiple patches and items, to diablo 3. However i still remember doing the huntress over and over again and not really being into the skeleton king. Maybe my expectations where so high, or im just a debbie downer.

Problem is that you must be in the higher inferno acts for truly the best items. If i was any other class other than barb it would be much easier lol. Sorta stuck at act 2 inferno for a bit ha.

Also dont get me wrong i enjoy the game - just when you put in 12 years i feel there should be a little more. They removed so much because they felt if it wasnt perfect it wont be included, however the game seems like a final beta build that is being tweaked. I feel like at times Diablo 3 was created with the Starcraft 2 game creator and it was made by WoW's B team.
