Currently have 170 GF
Run takes me approx 1 minute and 50 seconds

Go into Inferno Act 1: Sword of the Stranger
Take Waypoint to Royal Crypts
Walk towards the exit door to get Checkpoint
Destroy absolutely everything between door and the area with the 4 pillars (Where Skeleton King normally spawns and says You dare bring warmth into my tomb?!)

Try to keep SOME damage (nothing major) as you will occasionally run into skeletons, about 5 or so a run, but they're easy to kill.

I get about 10k per run, YMMV so it equals out to about 200k per hour for me at 170GF

(Destroy pots, caskets, skeletons, everything.)

Update: If I play this like an APM match, I speed up my progress. Was able to squeeze 313,237 in 60 minutes on 33 runs, with a rare recipe and 3 rares that will sell for about 10k each.

sounds horrible unless you can bot it.

Well, you can either try your luck with MF gear and the Magic/Rare/Legendary RNG system and hope for a good drop that you can sell on the AH for money, or you can spend that time getting guaranteed gold. You could probably bot it, not sure how sophisticated the bots are but if your willing to put in the time to MF farm, this is much better imo, as its guaranteed. Say you farm for 2 days and finally get a drop that sells for 2 mil on the AH, well, I will have made more here. :D

Yah I ran a 1 hour stop watch cleared inventory and ran as much as I could and recorded the difference :)

Let me know how the bot does and which you use! Does it break objects?

For farming it's hard to beat core of areat if you pick up the checkpoint right outside where you fight Azmodan. With the Virtual steroids bot my monk makes around 370k an hr.

thought i would update this thread with another tactic instead of creating a whole new thread.

I found a way better way to earn gold usin this, observe this only works as a wizard.

Equip as much gf gear as you can, equip the skill ice armor and the rune Frost Storm, and make sure to keep a pickup radius of at least 30 so you never need to stop to pickup gold and can just keep on running nonstop

then do like this.

each run gives around 10k and takes around 50sec to complete

Nice update fluffster. Also you can add youtube code to posts so it can be posted on the site :) I updated your post with it. Also 25 rep to you for this good find and 50 rep to itsicarus for this one. It might not be great but if they keep nerfing spots it will be ha.

You can do this faster by going to the quest right before the broken sword and selecting royal crypts. Run through to the crypts and grab the checkpoint. Wait 25-30 secs before logging so you can make sure you got it.

When you resume game now you'll be in the crypts and can cut your time down significantly.

move to nerfed section, in today's hotfix notes

(!empty($user->lang['QUOTE'])) ? $user->lang['QUOTE'] : ucwords(strtolower(str_replace('_', ' ', 'QUOTE'))):
Pots of ashes in Act I and vases in Act IV will now drop less gold when destroyed
