ok, so like i just got the bot, and im a lil confused...

I bring up the Script Menu, scroll over to the HarvestBot_Harvest_V402 i seleceted the compatibility button, and I hit start and it says....

Script Running... then like a secongd later it says
All Scripts stoped... and this is where i get all bumbed out and stuff

any help would be awesome thank you

If you dont have a zone section for the zone you are in, it will quit

I would look at the HarvestBot_v402.txt file. It will give you a good idea why it quit.

Just an FYI.

I did post/upload a new version for HarvestBot.

It fixes some issues with recognizing uncommon and rares, added T6 stuff, and corrected some movement and avoid ranges. See post for details.

I just started using this again after a few months and I'm a little confused. I set up the .ini file (correctly I believe) but the script won't run. I'm not too sure where I went wrong. In game logging is on. Is there a certain resolution I have to be playing at?

Having Truble with this.. I downloade it, into Scriped files, unzip it into SCriped. then Lost from there...

CAN SOMEONE PLEASE WALK ME OVER THIS PROGRAM? HOW I DO THIS.....

open the .ini file and read the instructions, it's pretty straightforward stuff and explains each line of text and possible values. but, obviously, i'm having trouble as well:P

HELP!!!

please post a link to where i can get some help with the basics. I have installed Xunleashed, i installed Wyvern's EQ2 Servicer and i see it under plugins and services. i downloaded the harvest bot 4.02 and extracted it into the script folder. I then read the read me where it says you must change the defaults in the ini folder or it will not work. When i open the file i recognize that it is Visual Basic Script, but i have never messed with it, before and have no idea what the proper default values are, or where to set them. I'm sure this has been asked before, but i have spent the better part of 20 hours now searching for answers, and reinstalled Xunleash atleast 10 times now trying to get it to work.

please help, this client is about to make my brain explode.

Sounds like you are trying to open the .VBS file. The one that configures the harvest bot should be in your main /scripts directory and will be called harvestbot_40x.ini. This is the one you want to edit. If you are looking in /scripts/harvestbot_40x/ directory you wont find it. Hope this helps

Well 4.02 does not work for me. 4.03 works great though! Very easy to setup. Here's how i did it hope it helps someone

-download hbmakepath from the scripts forum
-goto /xunleashed directory/scripts
-find the harvestbot403.ini file named something like that
-under harvest delete value after delete me
-under section for options specific to your character put in your name and your server name
-right under zone settings put this in delete everything before [The thundering steppes] and put this in.

MaxWander = 25
NodeStopType = Strict
NumOfPoints = 30

COLLECT = ?
FUNGI = natural herb garden
ORE = eroded ore
FISH = array of fish
ROOTS = sun bleached roots
DEN = beast den
SHRUB = parched shrubbery
WOOD = arid timber
STONE = sand scoured stone
MISC = withered bones

-load up eq2 and run hbmakepath.js in compatibility mode. Run around your path pushing home like every 8 seconds along your path loop back around your starting point. Brose to /xunleashed directery/scripts/hbmakepath and open the .ini file in there copy all your waypoints above in the space i left and edit numofpoints right above all this to how many you copied in.
-save the file
-run the script and walla your harvestbot'n

-script does have a hard time with gettin things by enemies so try and find a place with only a few enemies it doesn't mess it up but just makes you look like a bot. Also time when terrorantula is up because a raid will probly be on that evening and during that time check for sinking sands 2 to open
