Same Problem here DjvJ. I think its the AMD issue again except with the mapper. Man I wish this would work for me.

the second i click the thing to start the plugin the game crashes... i click it when i first zone into the game after i choose what character... i have the sniffer and everything disabled... just wondering if this is the amd bug? or if i am doing something wrong?

nvidia 6800 ultra 256mb
1 gig of reg ecc ram
trying at 1280x1024 rez window'd mode but maximized at same time...
i think you should make a txt file that tells what everything is and does... but thats just me =/

If you have an AMD and you have the radar installed, you WILL crash currently.
I am looking into the bug.

[font=Comic Sans MS] [/font] just a question concerning the scrolling of the radar window. the direction traveling appears inverted. That is, running north in a zone, your focus caret in radar moves to the bottom of its window. Having just enough programming knowledge to get the VCR to flash 2:00 rather then 12:00, i dont know if this is an easy fix or tantamount to a total rewrite.
A superb Job Well Done on executeing the concept though, runing all over Ferrott now chortling like a madman

Yea, next release it will be fixed so the North is actually north, etc.

Greetings,
Forgive my noobness, but I thing I got it to work, but there are some things I cannot figure out.
I installed everything correctly, and when EQ2 comes up, I get the a little 2"x2" window in which I have to press the + key many times to zoom in.
I cannot move this window as it reverts back to the same location. When I click on one of the small tabs on top of the window (forget which one exactly) I think map or something, I crash to the desktop.
But, I do see all the info on the screen, even if is small.
Is there a way I can make the window larger?...like in the screenshots...and transparent as well?
And yes...I am one of those AMD guys...

First, be sure you put a window behind the radar window. Else the buttons wont work.
next, if you click on a tab and it crashes, try deleting the plugin and reinstalling it. Also makesure you dont have multiple copies of xu installed on the machine.
Next, yes the enlarge buttons are on the next tab.
I am still working through some of the amd problems however.

After I removed all the files, I did a clean install of the XU client, EQ2Service plugin, and the EQ2unleashed.
I did put a window behind the radar window as instructed.
Now, whenever I get into the game, I briefly see the radar and things moving on it, but crash to the desktop. I've tried several different things, but always continue to crash to the desktop shortly after my character loads...about 2 seconds into the game.

thats the same problem we all have because we have amd processors... well unless you have a pentium with the amd problem...
oh and wyvernx can you make it to where it makes a sound when a ? is in view? (but first get the amd fix lol)
