I cant get it to work. I purchased xUnleashed just for this macro :/

(1) First thing that happened is ... I click "Start Crafting" button ...

The Training walks me through "programming" my buttons. The first event that fires is in number 1, as soon as I hit it number 1 is constantly hit over and over although I am still training my other buttons. I train number button number 3 but event number 2 never hits me so I can program that button with out Repeating the craft process. BUT as I move my mouse, it jumps right back up under my inventory slot of the fuel I set under config. Eventually I am able to get mouse to STOP crafting. I start over.

(2) Second problem. So I start programming the buttons again. I reconfigure my fuel and continue. As each event pops up I program ..1...2..3 .. but I notice as a previously programmed event pops up it does not counte rit. FInally all buttons are programmed ... the program message goes away .. and ... nothing. It sits there. It does not launch the repeat .. doesnt counter ...nothing.

Tried this 5 more times. Same result as number two above.

Now, the instructions are not clear. Do I start the crafting process and THEN click "STart Craftinh" on plugin window?

WHat am I doing wrong?

Pentium 4 3.2 ghx
1 gig RAM
Latest DirectX (not beta)
ATI 9600 video card.

Thank you. If we cant get this to work can I get a refund? I would rather have this though.

Thank you so much. I understand it is in BETA and anything I can do to help please let me know.

Do not press 1 until the failure buff is shown in the crafting window.

Same for 2,3.

Also, do not move the crafting window once you click begin crafting.

dionysus, do not move the crafting window at all once you click begin crafting.

Make sure your buff hotkeys are in 1,2, and 3 key positions. WHen the buff comes up, click the 1,2,or 3 keys that correspond to that buff. Do not press any other keys. It will learn what buff to then press.

Thanks for the reply but I have exactly the same problem as rbernavich and what you have written here doesn't help. I'm not moving the crafting window and I press the button when the buff symbol appears in the crafting window but mostly what happens is it just constantly fires off the first buff I press. I've tried it in windowed and full screen.

Let me get this first part straight. You begin crafting and then press start crafting on the macro window? The mouse then moves by itself and you don't touch it after that right? Then you should just have to press 1, 2 and 3 when the relelvant symbol comes up in the crafting window. That's what I'm doing atm with the above result. When you say click the keys, you mean press the keys right, not click something with the mouse?

Thanks again, hope we can get this sorted out soon,
D

I have a much better solution in the works that should eliminate those problems completely.

Just about ready to post it.

Also make sure that
A/ Your Inventory or persona window is behind the EQ2crafter macro window.
B/ That you have EQ2 in windowed mode (alt - enter to get into windowed mode once u open up the macro)
That should clear up some of the [problems right there. And don;t chat, run commands etc while u are macroing.
The program has been running flawlessly for me btw. TYVM :D

A) That wouldnt cause it to crash when you start macroing, thats simply so the buttons work and you dont grab the screen and change your camera angle.
B) That also wouldn't cause it to crash, and 90% of the problems don't even make it to crafting, it just blows up because it likes to.

I am offering suggestions for the people that are having problems getting it to *work properly* not addressing the crashing issues some people are having. Thise could be attritubeted to too many factors i.e. running apps in the background, not runnong win xp etc, etc, etc,.

My eq2 client crashes to desktop while training counter spells. I get to the second counter when it crashes. I am not pushing any other buttons. I am running in windowed mode. I also ran winupdate and manually downloaded Microsoft script 5.6. No antivirus or firewall is running, and closed all other running prgrams.
Oh yeah, unchecked the tcp/ip packet sniffer.
EQ2 crafter is the only plugin I have.

Do the optional settings in xunleashed client matter? (option tab - optional)

Just curious if I am overlooking anything.

I am excited to use this program =)

in the meantime, making a regular macro is suiting my stroma needs =)

Yeah, I'm having this same problem. I believe he is looking into it and releasing an update later today.

Thanks again for trying but neither of those suggestions fix anything. Still got same problem. Something I forgot to mention before is that when I first start XU and hit play I get two Error 404 messages telling me "File not found on patch server....". I hit OK to both of them and everything continues fine but figured this was worth a mention. Still have same probs with crafting macro as before.

Cheers,
D

I am having the same exact problem as rbernavich. Any updates or suggestions would be helpful.

I also bought this specifically for eq2. If it doesn't work am I out of line to ask for a refund?

I have the basic crafting macro up and running fine. The problem that I am having is that it takes me 20-30 times running in "learning mode" to actually get a run that pick up all 3 buffs correctly. It picks 1 or 2 up almost everytime, but it is very difficult to get it to pick up all 3. Once it is dialed in and actually performing the buffs it works like a dream, it hits 99% or better.

Is there anyway that learn mode could be enhanced so you could reassign 1 buff at a time on a selectable basis, or even make the buff X assigned field value editable so I could fill in values that I know would work? I have all my windows locked and the buffs are always the same ones...seems like it would be alot less hassle.

Maybe I am missing something anyone have any tips/tricks to getting it to pick up the buffs better?
