Crashes EQ 2 everytime on my laptop. Works fine on my desktop. So I guess I'll discribe whats happening and give you some info about my pc.
1st I have an AMD64 3000 mobile
1024mb ddr 2700 ram
radeon 9600 mobile 64mb
direct X 9b
XP Pro
resolution 1200x800
Now I have a wide screen which I think is the problem. Because Xunleashed does not run right on this computer in windowed mode on this machine. Basically it gets streched out all over the screen and you can click on anything. So I was unable to try it in windowed mode on this machine. Now in full screen the program works fine. So back to my crashing issue.
Now I open the pluggin no prob. Click on config and I moved the yellow box over the fuel. Then I click on start crafting. The cursor moves over and clicks on start and I begin crafting. I get as far as the message to hit 123. Weather I do or not in a second the screen goes black and I crash to the desktop with a debug message on EQ2 client app. The one thing I didn't try yet because the servers came down was try changing the resolution. Not sure it it will have any effect.
On my desktop it works weather in full screen or windowed at 1024x768. No clue...about this... any ideas?
EDIT: Tried differant resolutions, tried windowed and no joy.

I fixed the download link, sorry about that.
Mally, first, does it craft fine on your desktop?
Now for your desktop, lets try a simple fix. When the eq window loads up and everything is stretched. (here i am assumig you mean the xu stuff), try to drag the window and change its size by only a few pixels. that will fix it. It happened to me in wow, and changing the window size by just a tad should correct the problem. If that is not possible, can you run eq2 in windowed mode in 1024 resolution?

Just a FYI, I tested this out, and it works full screen also.
I am still working on the getpixelcolor functions, but just thought I'ld let you know it works for me perfectly in full screen or windowed modes.

works fine on my desktop as well in both windowed mode and full screen. I have no problems with the desktop. Great plugin BTW! LOVING IT!
But on my laptop specs listed above it crashes EQ 2 everytime. Basically stat up the plug in. Move the yellow square over the fuel and I click start crafting. It does take my curser and click on begin and then the message comes up to hit 123 and then I get a black screen and crash to the desktop.
What I was saying about the streched out bar. Was on my laptop which has a wide screen when I put EQ in windowed mode the xunleashed bar gets streched out and distorted. I did try changing resolutions and that did not fix it.
Other than that the program works fine in full screen mode on the laptop with the exception of this plugin.

Could you resize the window with your mouse in windowed mode?
Do you have all service packs to your OS? windows updates? etc?
Turn off all antivirus including zonealarm, etc also.
Uncheck the tcpip packet sniffer and remove the regHandler plugin if it is there also.

Well resizing the windows fixed the bar being stretched out...thx!!!

Yes, yes and yes..latest spyware / virus defs. The PC is in good health.
3. Turn off all antivirus including zonealarm, etc also.
I disabled the startup group. No firewall/virus apps running
4. Uncheck the tcpip packet sniffer and remove the regHandler plugin if it is there also.
Done and regHandler was not there.
I thought this might help this is the discription of the error message in event viewer...

Not really sure. Might just be something funky with this laptop... any more ideas? Works great on my desktop. AWESOME work btw can't wait to see more work being developed  And thanks for the quick responses!

so how exactly do I install this thing, the xui isent an executeable so i cant really go about installing it

First install xunleashed.
Register it.
THen download the .xui file from the web and run it from your computer.

Downloaded it but how do you install it? Wants me to select a program to run it. Also do you need to drop it into the EQ2 folder?

Everytime I load it up, I get to the same spot. I config it, hit begin crafting, get the message to follow instructions, and then it moves the mouse to the fuel, overflows, and exits. I've tried windowed and not.

Check your service patches for your windows version.
Reinstall the windows script host 5.6+ from microsoft.

Sht, i tried to do this earlier and couldnt. For the life of me, i cant get windows to let me install something that hasnt passed logo testing (i have xp 64-bit) and this hasnt for that OS. any suggestions?
UPDATE: I installed the windows script host v5.6 for windows 2003 server, and the problem still occurs. the overflow kills EQ2, but not XU
