Hey guys, I've been researching how to read from process memory and I've found some good video tutorial videos from start to having a working hack machine. L4DL4D2EUROPE's Channel. http://www.youtube.com/user/L4DL4D2EUROPEHe even goes into C++, on creating a working console program. ( It's for an FPS game but general idea is there ) Hope this helps anyone that is searching for this. I'll update this thread as I learn further, or find more resources. My day job is C++ programmer, so if anyone is interested, I can post my code when I get it to a solid location. Cheers, Joseph

I found some more tutorials with cheat engine, which should give anyone a better understanding of what's going on. I think this guy is specifically targeting flash games, but should be helpful in learning how to manipulate cheat engine to access memory for stored variables. http://cheatenginetutorials.blogspot.com/This guy goes into a wide array of features ( 9 Step Tutorial ) supported by Cheat Engine. Getting into Multi-Level Pointers, Code Injection. The sound is a little crackly, but still coherent. http://www.youtube.com/user/mystykMeFi/Hope this helps anyone looking to create their own bot. On a side note, does this forum have a "Bot Creators" generic forum, that's not specifically tied to a game? Might be handy. Cheers, Joseph

What part of PunkBuster are you trying to get around. The memory detection of your programs, or the detection of known cheaters?

Its not for me its for the people at mmoviper. They want to start getting into fps aim bots too but they havent looked at punkbuster yet. However i want to help direct them towards getting around that detection. More time i save them, more time they can work programming, more stuff the community gets

I'm not sure if PitViper is interested in releasing just a DLL with an in-game UI, but that's the way most aim-bot programmers have been doing it for years.
Extreme Injector rocks and allows you to scramble and inject any DLL in a stealthy manner. Things like the DLL name, size, PDB signature, assembly data, etc. can all be optionally masked. If the users wanted to take it upon themselves to use it, they could PunkBuster-proof themselves.
