Introduction:
Hello fellow members, this is a detailed guide / FAQ for the Midnight hack, created by buFFy! Just to clear things up, I was not involved by the creation of the hack or stand in any relation to it. I am just writing this guide to help others out.


What is Midnight?
Midnight is a multi hack for Guild Wars 2 with a ton of features. You can read them up in the official topic. A thing to mention: the hack is still undetected, but acting like a fool and using the flyhack in a town might get you reports and eventually banned.

The following is a quote from the authors manual, so all credits to him.
This is 3rd party software so this breaks the EULA. Now that you came here I suppose you know what you are doing, especially after reading the list of features. Infact ANET is banning detected hackers. As of now Midnight is undetected and ANET cannot detect you. Beware though of people reporting you when hacking in public, crowded places asf. Midnight clearly grants you an advantage over other players. I am not held responsible for any sort of consequences you or others might experience. That includes your account getting banned! Please keep in mind that some features may affect drop rates or the in-game economy. Use Midnight respectfully. If the file archive you got has the correct md5 checksum, then this archive is not infected with any sort of malware, virus, trojan, dropper, worm, keystealer of any kind. Please keep in mind that Midnight is supposed to contact its home server over the internet for updates and to check
your login credentials.

Getting started
After you got your account by following the instructions in the official thread you might want to use the hack. First, download the Daylight version here at: http://www.taultunleashed.com/guild-war ... ml#p406156

1) Start your GuildWars2 client as an administrator and login to your character.
2) Install exhume (just run the exhumeinstall exe). You only need to do this once.
3) Run the Daylight.exe as an administrator (set an exception for your firewall and AV if needed).
3) Enter your TU login into the Exhume Login box
4) At the Midnight Login, just enter anything. Or nothing.. Just press Login and Start.



4) General usage of the hack should be clear.


F.A.Q. & troubleshooting

I get the error messsage "GW2 is not running!"
Apparently the GuildWars2 client is not running. Remember, you have to start the client BEFORE you start the hack.

I get the error messsage „Account is already logged in.“
Your account is currently in use. Most likely the hack did not gracefully
disconnect the session (eg. it crashed unexceptionally).
Just retry again in a few minutes.

I get the error messsage „You are not logged in yet.“
Did you try to hit Start before Login? That's the wrong way around!

I get the error messsage „Connection timed out.“
Your client lost connection to the Midnight heart beat server. Make sure that
hb.exe has outbound http access (port 80). Set an exception for hb.exe in your
firewall and your anti virus software.

I get the error messsage „Couldn't initialize hooks.“
You get this error when you renamed your GW2.exe. I.e. you named your .exe in the installation folder guildwars2.exe, you get the problem. Renaming back to GW2.exe fixes that problem.

Can you add the option to withdraw/deposit copper/silver/gold instead of gold only?
Comes with the next release of Midnight.

How can I use click to teleport? Which hotkey?
Menu → Settings

I don't know what's going on. When I am supposed to enter downed state, I got teleported way below the surface.
Turn off Anti-Death or just move around, you then get back to your prior location.

How do I save my current position and do I have to enter it manually?
Just press the „Save Point“ button, the hack reads your current coords by itself.

Please add multiclient support!
I might consider this in the future.

When teleporting I end up somewhere up in the air or under water!
Press the „Load Arealist“ button and remember, you can only teleport
within your current area!

Where can I see my current position without saving it to the list?
Your current position is displayed in the window's caption.

I noticed hb.exe in my Temp folder. What is it all about?
That part of Midnight keeps the online connection between Multihack client and server alive. It is called a heartbeat.

How can I fly up and down?
In conjunction with the flyhack hotkey (default: Numpad9) use your key to jump.

The interface just hangs with the message „Wating for character“ in the window caption. Nothing happens!
This is normal if Guild Wars 2 just crashed, in that case restart Midnight. Otherwise, if you have your anti virus software running set an exception for Midnight. You might want to deactivate it completely as long as you play. Another possible solution is, run Midnight in Windows XP SP3 compatibility mode.

With ESP, will I be able to see those perma stealth thieves in WvW?
No.

This may seem elementary, but I do not see much of a guide to logging in. Buffy says:
"1. just login without any id password
2. press start.
3. enjoy."

And you said:
"3) Login to the Midnight client:"

Am I supposed to put my guild wars 2 login data in there? I guess I'm not entirely comfortable with that.

My Daylight version bypasses the login.. so you dont enter anything.

I'll update it. My daylight has a login for exhume.. and that uses your taultunleashed login.

i see no menu ... what keys are for fly hack?

It gives me an error.

GW2 Client is running. I'm logged in on my character and the following message pops when I try to install Exhume file:

WARNING:
Attempting to download ExhumeHelper.dll. If you receive an error message, please wait a minute and try again.

(I waited a couple of minutes, tried again... nothing)

So then I clicked OK. Another message pops and reads as follows:

ERROR:
ERROR: Failed to load ExhumeHelper.dll!

I click OK once again and nothing happens.

Could I be missing something? I followed the Manual posted here to the T.

That file is part of the download, so I'm guessing your antivirus is deleting it.

anyone else's midnight not connecting to server?

There is the pay version and the free daylight version. Which version are you using?

He tells me Invalid Username ...

Try entering all blanks.

Make sure you are using the Daylight version not the midnight version. The midnight version is pay and support from what I understand is "iffy".

Strange, when I install InstallExhume.exe, it gives me the busy cursor for about 5-10 seconds and then just goes away with no feedback. All av softs are disabled. Anyone see this happen at this step before or have suggestions? Have tried running it as admin and as regular user.

Visit the exhume faq forum/thread or the link posted called daylight help. Somebody listed a missing debug/dll that fixed his issue that was simmilar.

when i open Installexhume.exe my pc freezes... help please

1. Turn off antivirus. Exhume still gets flagged by a few of them.
2. Run as administrator might have to disable UAC.
