Following my conversation with EST regarding various "problems" users have when trying to connect to TG, I am making this explanatory thread to allow users to better understand what they may be seeing.

The first thing to remember about TG is that is *is hard* to get on. It is deliberately so to make it a challenge to get in to fight for your nation.

Here are the most common occurrences when trying to connect to TG and their explanations. If you experience something else that you believe is a problem or bug, you should raise this in the normal manner (forum posts in the correct section or raise a support ticket) - If the issue turns out to be normal, this thread will be updated. If it's a bug, we will endeavour to get EST to correct it.

Channel full: If you try to connect to TG and it is full, users SHOULD receive a message much like "You cannot enter, channel is full".

Repeated CAPCHA authentication screen: If you are trying to connect to TG once it appears on the server list, but it isn't full, and you are repeatedly sent to the authentication code screen (possibly many times), then this is because too many users are trying to log in at that particular moment. This behaviour is NOT a bug and is completely normal. You should keep trying, but remember that all the other users who were trying to connect at that time will be doing the same! We have requested EST to add a suitable message when this happens, so it is clear to everyone.
