derdle34 (!empty($user->lang['WROTE'])) ? $user->lang['WROTE'] : ucwords(strtolower(str_replace('_', ' ', 'WROTE'))): OK, been trying to get this going, and so far looks good except for one major problem. The script runs, is searches, etc. it finds nodes, it runs to the nodes, but when it gets there, it does not harvest them. The current target arrow blinks on my character for a second, and then it starts looking for another node. I have the hotkeys set to 0, as I wanted to run it allowing it to use /useability initially, since most of my keys are set, and I would rather not change them. So, I have not tried with hotkeys in a hotbar....but if this is what I msut do, I will. Would greatly appreciate some input on getting it working the other way though. Thanks for the great work. OK- I have now tried it using it with hotkeys set-up and I get the same result. I never see the node actually get targeted, so I am assuming that's the problem, but I'm missing why. The log is showing "unharvestable node" for each one it runs to. Hopefully someone can tell me what to look at. I apologize...I didn't quite look long enough. Figured out the issues. It's now working like a champ.
How did you fix this? I hit the same snag and it'd be good to have in the thread for future people that get this
Thanks,
-

Thanks atmosfearraven, you guide has been most helpful.
I am still having issues getting the script to run at all.
This is my log, would these errors have anything to do with it?

By default the 'NearestPC' key is F7, the NearestNPC key is F8, the reason it was set to F7 was to check for a player already harvesting the node. Using F8 will break the "AvoidPlayer" functionality. I suggest you change it back and update your documentation to reflect this.

After I changed it back to F7 the bot worked like a champ. Use F7 instead of the recommended F8.

Avoid Players should be on by default, bots do not want to attract attention and nothing pisses harvesters off more than someone coming up and harvesting their node. Great way to get them to send a message to a GM and attract attention to your bot.
If you include the service in the archive then the archive has to be updated about once a month when the service is updated. I suggest NOT packaging it with the bot.
Since I am no longer the maintainer of this bot you need to talk to psouza, these are just my suggestions.

Ok so the bot starts, I get him to run round the forrest ruins, hell I even get him to harvest.
BUT after an event (going up a skill point, or finding something) he just stands there. The status will say 'harvesting creature den ......' and no more.
I have attached my ini file I you all could please tell me where I am going wrong it would be great.

There seems to be a bug in the waypoint navigation. I can get things working fine if I tolerate really loose/relaxed movement, but the script does not work well to hit specific waypoints before moving on.
For example:
Move to waypoint 1, find some rocks, harvest, find more, go harvest, etc.
Program decides to move to waypoint 2, moves a few steps, then decides to go to waypoint 3, few more steps, then waypoint 4, etc. This can get bad when waypoint 4 is now behind a mountain that waypoints 2 and 3 were directing you around.
The problem seems to be in FindNextMoveToLocation. If I understand the logic correctly, if no resource is found, we pick the next waypoint. There should be a forced check to make sure that we are AT the previous waypoint before this happens. If we're not there yet, and there is no resource, then direct the movement back at the existing waypoint.
I think this is what some of the relaxed/strict/direct settings are supposed to be doing, but the code as currently written doesn't seem to care if I have my entire route as direct with strict settings; it still skips to the next waypoint too early.
