Heres a couple more for you to play with...
Disable range check on banker window (window stays up all the time) 5055F0 56 C3
Same thing, but for merchant windows: 5A94A0 56 C3
Im sure that can be worked into a nice tradeskill macro..

Aye, used Tsearch with Eq1 but I do like Winhack better.
Question for you, is it easier/harder to find the needed jmp's in the EQ2 executable when compared to EQ1? I hadn't bothered to even break down the exe file because I heard everything nice was double checked server side. Was never very good at tracking them down from scratch anyway.
The range cancel definately has some interesting macro possibilities. Going to see if it works in conjunction with the /show_window commands. If it does then it'll restore the functunality of those two, even if the broker takes a bit of extra tracking down.
Much thanks for all the info pretzel, definately will keep me busy tinkering for the next few weeks.

I've found it easier personally.. thats how I learned my limited knowledge of ASM, playing around with the decompiled EQ exec.. and I didn't have too much of a problem transitioning into EQ2.. Got one for broker Keep Broker Open 5A34C0 56 C3 Happy hunting!

Oh btw, I've found the /show_window mainhud.Character window to be quite helpful.. it gives you a lot of good ideas with all those on/off effects.

That ones fairly common knowledge, dont remember where I found it.. I think i was digging around on eqinterface.. they've got quite a few fun commands like that, but none are really useful outside of Character, imo.

aye, i really wanna know the blackmarket broker command, so i dont have to run all the way over. Even if its just to view items and not buy its a save of a long run to the harbor and back.

hmm...so are these like macros where soe can not tell if youve done them? Or can soe detect this and we have a higher chance of ban?

My personal favorite is Cheat Engine. Available for free, no nags, no limitations. Do a search on google or download.com to get the link to the homepage.
And btw, VERY nice work, Pretzel!

I honestly couldn't tell you.. I haven't done much packet sniffing / digging through the exec to say what kind of detection there is, and I don't know enough people messing around in memory to tell you if anyones been banned for it. In EQ1.. you could do basically anything you wanted so long as nobody saw you do it. (Nobody saw you fly by at the speed of light, or instantly warp yourself accross a zone, or zone into somewhere theres no possible way you could have access, etc) The only exception was the movement speed offset, that one seemed to get more people banned for just being on (some sort of offset detection) that appeared to check while zoning.. which is why I've stayed away from the speed offsets thus far.
As for EQ2, its a whole new world, I'd say theres a considerably higher risk then macroing.
Phpbb makes my head hurt, where do you check PMs? I run my own PHPBB board, and I cant even find it. How pathetic is that.
