Omg offsets! *gets a warm and fuzzy* Do you know of any sites working on this like the old hackersquest used to? Aka, is there an offset following for Eq2 that I can't find?

Sigh, I'm so rusty after three years of not trying it's going to be painful. Also the daily patches are going to give me fits. On the brighter side you gave me somewhere to start with those three so thanks.

artrapas what you think worth premium?
As for the movement hack we already have that one but as for those nice offsets they just need to be tested.

Oooo, it's dangerous asking my opinion. Most people avoid doing so like the plague In my ever so humble opinion, I'd say it's worth it. The ghosting has been given before true, but I'd never seen the door use listed and there's enough locked doors in EQ2 to make that worth it by itself. He laid out the instructions concisely enough to make it understandable by everyone (which is a pretty rare talent these days). The offsets by themselves would be a given, though I can't tell you if they work until I get home and go take a trip down memory lane. <---Memory lane, get it? I kill me sometimes. Most importantly, having a guy like this would be an asset to the forums by itself. The ability to think outside the box as it were is a valuable tool, and anyone who messes with offsets gets cool points in my book

The ghosting I figured would be near public knowledge.. the neat part about it is definetly the doors. I was able to solo guide of the deciever and haddens earring w/o ever having 1 key for nektropos castle.
Atrapas - The great thing about EQ2 is it seems they actually made it easier to hack. Almost all the good offsets are stored in a higher part of memory, so they dont change every patch. Infact, I did these offsets about a month ago, and haven't had to update them yet. I have the footprints as well though, if they ever do change it would take me about 30 seconds to update them.
Camp while engaged / running: 48C9AE
I just wanted to get a feel for what kind of community I was getting involved in here, so to make things easier on you, heres the old and new for the offsets:
camp: 48C9AE 0F8498 E99900 No fall: 4E15C1 0F 8 - 90 E9 EB: 441F57 74 2E - 90 90 Blur effect: 431977 0F 84 - 90 E9

Theres several programs out there that automate the process, but I always found them more trouble then they are worth. Easiest way is to get winhack - theres cracked versions of it readily available all over the web since the creator died nobody fears his lawsuits. Just google winhack 2.0. Once you have winhack, run eq2 and open up the everquest2.exe process via the drop down at the top of winhack, then go to edit memory. Bottom left theres a search for offset field, add a 00 infront of the offset then search for it. IE for camp while moving: $0048C9AE - it should jump you to that location, and you'll see the previous data highlighted (0F 84 98) edit them to read E9 99 00 and then hit save changes, now go back to game, and camp while moving! Not a very difficult process, really.

Theres a ton of mem editors you can use, if you cant find winhack, try tsearch, if you cant find tsearch.. go to download.com, they are a dime a dozen.
