Raiding option:

Would it be possible to somehow make this so it ONLY monitors health for raids?

The reason I say this is currently in a full 4 group raid there is so much data going thru the log file heals are delayed by up to 5 seconds.

This would pretty much be a Healer Only option since all other class's would require dmg dealing and prob. have to read the log file.

So would be looking for a setting something like:


;ignores all data in the log file and only watches the health of others
RaidHeals:TRUE


ALSO what about adding a line to monitor one or two other people outside the group like:

;People's health to watch outside the group - only active if RaidHeals=TRUE
RaidAdditionalPeople:Bobthebuilder,Elmo

;what percentage you want to "start" healing the people in "RaidAdditionalPeople:"
RaidHealsPercentage:50

The logic of how this could work is:

If HealPercent2STR=60 then the bot focus is on the group till they are above 60% then it tabs between the people setup in "RaidAdditionalPeople:" on like a 4 sec interval healing them until someone in the group drops below 60% or the encounter is dead.

These options would make raiding A TON easier.

Anyway just a thought....

I had this working yesterday, but now it loads up and then runs to next loc even if a mob is right in front of it. How do I stop it form doing this and actually fight?

Ok, nm on the above post, i figured it out.

However, I am having a problem with pulling to safe spot. I use a ranged attack with my scout to hit the target and then my character just dances around the mob for a while before hitting it. Sometimes it will then run back to safespot and other times it will just stay where it engaged. This is a problem because I get agro from other mobs and die :-( Any suggestions?

OMG! Fast answer lol...I was fast too (to fast it seems I have posted the error it asked me to check for, sorry about that).

Can't seem to fing the "-1" that is causing the trouble though...I am using that program that modifies the ini file

...if it is indeed the "-1" the error refers to.

Thanks for 2.2b, that works much better (in my scenario - which is single melee, using NAVCOMEBACK, the waypoints are basically in a straight line. Character runs back and forth, stopping, targetting and attacking any aggro along the way.

Two small things I have noticed -
1) the problem when a non-attackable NPC is closest targettable MOB is still an issue (listed in earlier post). [perhaps just not addressed in this ver]. If you need more details, let me know.

2) When looting, you will move slightly. When done, you appear to move back to the original LOC.
Not really an issue as the delay is small, just mention as it makes the character a bit more 'obvious'.

What does it do exactly when the closest is a non aggro? I tested it yesterday and it was working fine for me I think, maybe I miss something.

Hi Loraik,

I never actualy tested it but to reduce spam and heal only you can try turning log off after you start the buffbot. It should continue working and since there is nothing new going into the log it should just heal when needed. Give it a try and let me know.

Check to make sure that you have the ultrabot.ini file configured to point to the right file name. If you change the name of the default .ini you have to change it in the ultrabot.ini also. about all I can see that might cause that.

Yes error is you missing a parameter in
[qb1,Coil,2,2s,3s,qb1,GreaterRot,x,2s,3s]
GreaterRot does not have a key define.

I noticed some odd behaviour for a buffbot coupled together with an offensive bot(2.2b). Every once in a while even if the offensivebot was stationary or looking for targets, the buffbot would go into change angle mode, list some target in the window (didn't really have something targeted) that was at a distance of over 200 and then it would start running off. Hunt etc is set to false for the buffbot and it never did this sort of thing prior to this version. It used to just follow the offensivebot etc.

I also encountered a problem (this had been with 2.2a) where the bots were fighting some grouped mobs and it targeted one of the grouped mobs and it showed it at 55% health and thought it needed a heal, and then proceded to cast heals. Both bots were at 100% health at the time.

I think this is the section of the log that is one of the points where it went nuts and started running off.
