I am working on it now as well as adding in some new features.

One of these will be a customizable offsets so if they ever change the UI again you can edit to move your locations to suite the new UI or if you use a custom UI.

A few other enhancements as well.

Stay posted.

Is one of these features/enhancements the ability to change the time between reaction cycles. ie crafter presses 1,2,3 waits x time and repeat.

I've notice the time between a little slower then the previous version.
But awesome job on the Save/Load feature it works great!!!!

No, i did not add that as a feature.

I dont really follow what you are wanting.

Are you waying a way to instead of spamming buffs every tick, to spam them with a delay instead?

If that is so, I might be able to get something added.

what I am tring to say is....

if you have the program setup to press all 3 buffs ie keys 1, 2 and 3. it presses 1, 2, and then 3 then it wait "X" amount of time, and then presses 1,2 and 3 again, waits "X" amount of time.....

I was just curious if that "X" amount of time could be customizable. Even if we would have to set it up like the max number of items to make(in the setup or ini file), that would be cool.

Does the crafter detect the tick to trigger the buff/reaction cycle?
I'll have to watch it a little closer tonight, it just seems like its not triggering every tick, but maybe its just me.

Go to the Confirmed Macro, Script and Program forum. There's a thread there with the link.

Then you simply click start crafting. Then you have to "teach" the crafter which reaction icons are for one of the 3 toolbar buttons. It has yellow text on the screen for you to follow. (After you click start crafting that is)

Ok I do all of the below but win I set the last buff it crashes back to windows
No error massage or nothing. If I just set buffs 1and 2 and not the third one it works but make a lot of crap and if it hit stop it does not bring back up the reconfigure window for the crafting macro.

Okay - nevermind - I figured it out...
I figured I would type of these instruction to help out newbs like me:
1) Download the macro from the 1st post in this series
2) Run XUnleashed
3) Ensure that in Options Everquest 2 is selected
4) Select Play - Everquest 2 should start
5) In game select the tradeskill device you will use
6) Select the recipe you wish to make but do not hit begin
7) Ensure in you virus protection you allow scripting (this messed me up)
8) Make sure you are in single click mode in options for EQ2
9) Drag mouse to the bottom of the screen - Script task bar should show up
10) Select the ts macro
11) Hit P to bring up your in game pesonal window and place behind the macro window (this allows the macro window to recieve you inputs and not affect the room you are in)
12) Select the Config tab
13) Hit the Configure or Reconfigure button at the top
14) Place the yellow square over the fuel at the bottom of your tradeskill window (this calibrates the location of repeat and begin buttons)
15) Go to the reset tab and reset each buff
16) Go back to the config tab and select how many buffs you want for each tic 1-3
17) Set up your task bar to have the #1-#3 action slots to have the three buff types
18) Make sure you have all the fuel and subcomponents you need to make you item (should have done this before)
19) Hit begin crafting at the bottom
20) You will now have a yellow oval around the begin button at the bottom of your tradeskill screen - it also says paused
21) Move your mouse to the center of the oval to begin action - do not press to mouse button to select begin - the macro will do that for you.. If you do you will most likely get mouse creep as the window will get selected and be moved around eventually making the macro useless.
22) The macro will be in learning mode until you have trained it to recognize the three different types of effects
23) The first time an effect happens hit the appropriate 1-3 number to counterspell the affect
24) repeat this for the remaining 2 effect types
25) Once the three effects have been selected the macro window will select the stats tab and display production progress.
26) Stop crafting by moving your mouse back to the macro window and select stop crafting - you can then reconfigure for a new recipe by repeating the above
Good luck and happy macroing!
By the way - nice simple macro - THANKS!

Hope this helps!

Hi

I'm pretty new to XU so bear with me. I'm trying to use the crafter bot and I've had some success. However, it keeps CTD before I complete the learning stage. It has happened at diff. times prior to this but usually it's on the 3rd out of the 3 buffs.

Here is a log of the event:

I have Wyverns plug in and XU windows input serice. I have all plug ins enabled, could this be the problem? I have read about a packet sniffer but I can't see this on the list of plug ins or anywhere else on the program.

I would appreciate any help offered.

Thanks

you can try to edit it outside of eq2.

Ie load up dx8 test config, and then run the crafter plugin.

Then save the config.

Then try to go back to eq2 and see if it works.

If it doesnt, I'll try to update it with buttons instead of an edit box.

I'm a lil' confused Wyvern, sorry for my ignorance!

Is the CTD issue to do with the config then?

I have a problem...just got it and installed. Locked down recipe window. When crafter learns the buffs, it randomly freaks with the buffs - it's not always consistant on what it does, other than not buffing or countering correctly, if at all, other times it spams one buff, it's like it lost it's mind. If the counterspell would work, I think this would be awesome. If I cann't get the counterspells to work, I'm lucky to get a level 3 item made. Any help would be great. Thanks.

Nevermind. Problems solved by using windowed session rather then full screen. Works great now!

You do not change it while your in Eq2. Change it in one of the files before you start Eq2.

(I'm at work atm and can't recall the name of the file, but its a config or INI file I believe.)
