Was crafting this morning and all of a sudden the program within EQ2 disappeared.. the red dot was still in the upper lefthand corner but Xunleashed disappeared. Now when I try to reboot Xunleashed it can't connect with the server.

When is this going to become a confirmed download so that we can upgrade from 2.3?

I'm running Win 64-bit on an AMD and every time the crafter goes from learning mode into crafting mode I get a divide by zero error. Is this pluggin still being updated? If so I'd be happy to test/try to work out bugs with it. Seems like a divde by zero should be easy to catch, though I know with debugging things can often appear easier than they are.

I think SOE changed the 'tic' to 3 seconds now instead of 6. This needs to be updated.

When you choose to spam keys, there should be a delay in the .ini file for an offset from the time the tic begins, probably in milliseconds. Usually 1/4 second after the tic starts you will get any events that are to occur and this will prevent the program spamming over the events.

Another variable that should be added to the .ini should be delay between buttons. To prevent buttons that are currently red out from not being pushed when an event happens. I.E. Spam buttons go off, then an event occurs, and it hits the event button, then you spam buttons, but the event button was one of your spam buttons and is currently redded out, so it just goes to your next spam button, missing the event. Not really sure how you would work or track that, but happens frequently.

Would be nice if it would support up to six of the keys. And would be great if you could configure the spam buttons based upon current durability of the item you are working. I.E. spam progress set until item drops below 50% on bar 4, then switch to durability.

Program is great and does seem to work flawlessly on items that are 10 levels or lower then yourself by just spamming progress. Great job.

Is there a more detailed instruction guide for this macro - I am somewhat lost running it.
Do I first target the device i want to craft on and have it set to the item I want to create - then run config and place the yellow container on the fuel in the tradeskill window not in my inventory?
Does firewall settings affect the performance of the macro?
My firewall comes up and asks me to allow a script - I then say yes - but the macro seems to be stopped and I can no longer access the taskbar and the plug in window is gone. All I have is the yellow paused circle.
When I put my mouse inside the yellow paused oval rather, it just says follow on screen commands, but nothing happens...
Thanks

Okay - nevermind - I figured it out...
I figured I would type of these instruction to help out newbs like me:
1) Download the macro from the 1st post in this series
2) Run XUnleashed
3) Ensure that in Options Everquest 2 is selected
4) Select Play - Everquest 2 should start
5) In game select the tradeskill device you will use
6) Select the recipe you wish to make but do not hit begin
7) Ensure in you virus protection you allow scripting (this messed me up)
8) Make sure you are in single click mode in options for EQ2
9) Drag mouse to the bottom of the screen - Script task bar should show up
10) Select the ts macro
11) Hit P to bring up your in game pesonal window and place behind the macro window (this allows the macro window to recieve you inputs and not affect the room you are in)
12) Select the Config tab
13) Hit the Configure or Reconfigure button at the top
14) Place the yellow square over the fuel at the bottom of your tradeskill window (this calibrates the location of repeat and begin buttons)
15) Go to the reset tab and reset each buff
16) Go back to the config tab and select how many buffs you want for each tic 1-3
17) Set up your task bar to have the #1-#3 action slots to have the three buff types
18) Make sure you have all the fuel and subcomponents you need to make you item (should have done this before)
19) Hit begin crafting at the bottom
20) You will now have a yellow oval around the begin button at the bottom of your tradeskill screen - it also says paused
21) Move your mouse to the center of the oval to begin action - do not press to mouse button to select begin - the macro will do that for you.. If you do you will most likely get mouse creep as the window will get selected and be moved around eventually making the macro useless.
22) The macro will be in learning mode until you have trained it to recognize the three different types of effects
23) The first time an effect happens hit the appropriate 1-3 number to counterspell the affect
24) repeat this for the remaining 2 effect types
25) Once the three effects have been selected the macro window will select the stats tab and display production progress.
26) Stop crafting by moving your mouse back to the macro window and select stop crafting - you can then reconfigure for a new recipe by repeating the above
Good luck and happy macroing!
By the way - nice simple macro - THANKS!

Hope this helps!

One thing I did which helped a lot was to LOCK the Crafting Window.

That way the window wouldn't accidentily get moved and screw up the macro run.

I just found about the bugs that happened on the LiveUpdate 15 on thurs.

I am working on it now as well as adding in some new features.

One of these will be a customizable offsets so if they ever change the UI again you can edit to move your locations to suite the new UI or if you use a custom UI.

A few other enhancements as well.

Stay posted.

2. Load/Save are now working
Does this mean no more re-teaching reactions everytime we load eq2??

Yes, as long as you lock your crafting window so it doesnt move, it should keep its settings when you save it.
