OK, so I've just started playing WoW and I have a couple of questions that maybe you experts can answer.
1. How can I earn more money? It always seems like I don't have enough.
2. I am currently a level 13 Human warrior. What should be my major goals and concerns at this point in the game? Are there things I'm missing out on because I'm just running around trying to do quests?
3. Item management. I have 4 six slot pouches and I'm still always full. Is there some crap that I should not bother carrying? I'm using my bank, but I am almost full with that too! If I'm not training to be a blacksmith do I need to save the ores that I found? WHat should I sell back, and what should be hung onto?
4. Skinning. I'm up to like level 98 because I skin everything I can, but it hasn't seemed to move in a while. And when I create/make leather products, what's the use of these products other than to try to level up, and sell them? They aren't of a high enough armor level to equip. Plus, how do I know if I've made enough, or too much, or not enough of an item? I mean, I made leather kits, lots of 'em, and each one was a level up, but only to a certain point, then it turned green and didn't level up leatherworking anymore. Do I need to make everything in the list to level up?
5. I'm always trying to get the best armor and weapons. Is there a comprehensive list somewhere that shows all my available armor & weapon options and where and when each can be found in the game?
Thanks,
T.K.

If you just started playing, you just earn money trough quests. In the first lvls you are a bit short on money, I know, but just keep questing and you'll get enough.
2. I am currently a level 13 Human warrior. What should be my major goals and concerns at this point in the game? Are there things I'm missing out on because I'm just running around trying to do quests?
Just do anything that you like, the game isn't about getting lvl 60 and get uber gear, it's about having fun.
Never hold any gray, useless green items or anything else with no use for you. Sell them to the vendor or put them in AH.
4. Skinning. I'm up to like level 98 because I skin everything I can, but it hasn't seemed to move in a while. And when I create/make leather products, what's the use of these products other than to try to level up, and sell them? They aren't of a high enough armor level to equip. If you are a warrior, drop skinning and leatherworking and go for Mining+Blacksmithing. That way you can create your own items. You don't have to make everything, just make the things that cost the less, but still are yellow or orange.
5. I'm always trying to get the best armor and weapons. Is there a comprehensive list somewhere that shows all my available armor & weapon options and where and when each can be found in the game?
On www.curse-gaming.com you can find AddOns. Download the AddOn called "Atlas" and the one called "Atlasloot Enhanced". Use those 2 and you can browse trough various instances and see the boss drops. Until lvl 18 you can't go instances so don't worry about "getting the best gear" yet. That's something to mind at lvl 60.

Thanks, you're very helpful. I appreciate it.
I realized that I couln't get past 100 on skinning because I was using the 10 day free trial. I upgraded so I shouldn't have that problem. But you think I should do blacksmith & mining instead?
Once an item is green, I can't get skill points for making it anymore, right?
I'll definately check out the add-ons. There's a lot there. Any others that you recommend?

Do whatever you want. PvP, explore, run around, do anything. You dont need to be focused on leveling the whole time or else you will not find any fun in the game. Trust me, I was souly focused on leveling, and I sucked the fun out of the game for myself. Now ive just started playing again, and am enjoying it alot more when I get background on the story and explore instead of just questing non-stop.

My two cents.
Fist off I said u were minning, Skinning, and Leatherworking? I musy have read that wrong. Someone sugested Minning and Blacksmithing. I would go against that. The reason being unless you are planing on being he guy in the guild with all the recipes to make armor for everyone there will be someone else who can make it for you or you can buy it on the actionhouse.
That brings us to your other concern. Not enough money. I always go with 2 gathering skillz unless making a strickly pvp toon then i get minning/ enginering. So if I were you I would go with Minning/Skinning. And then sell those products on the AH so suckerz that decided to spend every last bit of money they have to do Leatherworking and Blacksmithing.
Also if you do with Minning it will help you cuz you will be able to get the matz that you need to get someone to make that special something you want just be sure to tip for their time and trouble.
You will also want to get an add-on called Auctionerr it will help you to keep track of what the curent value of the things your tryin to sale on the AH. It will go alot more if you decide to go that route but atlest get it to know what to sale the items you gather for. You can find most add-ons at Curse-gamming.com.

1 Pick up mining and farm copper in elfwyn forest.
2 You need to get to 60 ASAP, do w/e you want, the purpose is to have fun. But at 60, for me and many others, it's alot more fun then being a lowbie
3 Get auctioneer, it should tell you the ammount items vendor for. Destroy the lowest level things and buy some 10 slots as they usually are pretty cheap.
4 The main reason you are not moving your skinning up is because you can skin mobs that are 7 levels above you, and in order to get higher you need to skin those higher level mobs. Always remember to AH leather, at 60 you can PL a profession.
5 Don't visit the AH and buy alot of items, you can level purely on greens and so-so gear.

Later on you'll spend more money finding the mats for stuff so you should rather make the items yourself and sell in AH. A guy in my guild eearned over 1000gold for farming his own mats and then sell Dawn's Edge and Phantom Blade. He sold more than 300 of each. That's where the real money is.

There's lots of money everywhere. Grinding, AH, questing, raiding etc. Picking up 2 gathering professions and then dropping one to get engineering for gernades is what I do always. Works pretty well for pvp.

OK, thanks to everyone for helping me out so far. I appreciate it.
But I still ahave a few questions:
1. Leatherworking. I'm up to 75, but I can't advance to Master until I get 125 skinng, right? So I know now based on the above posts that I need to skin higher level beasts to advance. I'll do that. Then I talk to the leather trainer in Goldshire. That sound correct?
2. Mining. Where do I learn this skill specifically? Is it in Goldshire too? Any tips on this once I start out? Any maps show where the outcroppings are? I've seen several as I have made my way around.
3. Slots. I never have enough room now to carry all I got! Should I just be dumping some of the stuff that looks like I might need it later in the game? I have not bought any bags or extra slots at the bank. I have three 6-slot bags and one 8-slot bag that was a rare drop I guess. Where can I find greater slot bags or should I shell out the dough and buy one?
Thanks again for everyone's assistance. This game rocks. I'm up to lvl 16 in aggramar.

1. Go to your skills tab and unlearn Leatherworking and Skinning.
2. Go to Stormwind, ask a guard where the Mining trainer and Blacksmithing trainer are and go there.
3. You should have enough slots with those bags. Otherwise you'll need to visit the vendor to sell all crap more often.
