That screenshot is on a private server. Currently I'm pretty sure it is GM only.

I found a Gnome in Tanaris talking about the Ashbringer, he's just outside of Steamwheedle Port in a little hut.

Ok, well I'm not to sure how I can prove this but I do know for a fact that this weapon is not real. If you play on private servers it is, but on the official World of Warcraft servers it is not. Some GM's on the Official WOW Servers can't really even access anything and if they can they don't know the coding to add a new weapon into their inventory.
But over all, if you want this weapon, go to a private server :)

Heard there was a [Corrupted Ashbringer] in the new Naxx 40man raid, epic quality not legendary though.

yup.. the ashbringer is 100% real... its going to be in the 1.11 patch. Yeah there's a guy in steamwheedle port who talks about it. Also there is a mention of the Ashbringer in Nat Pagles Guide to extreme anglin. Where the last page supposedly says "and thats how you get the Ashbringer and loot from fishing" something like that. There are lots of rumors going on about a connection between the ashbringer and nat pagle...

This weapon is real in 1.11. The paladins on the test server start with this weapon.

I was going to correct your spelling but I see it was a joke and not horrible spelling. Anyways, yes, Warriors and Pallys have Ashkandi in the test server.

Anyhow, the legend of the Ashbringer continues in 1.11, if you sit in LHC long enough, you will see a conversation of the people at the table, about Mograine [senior] (his son is the commander of the scarlet crusade, in SM) and he yields the corrupted Ashbringer, it looks just like ashbringer but is green and black and has a skull kinda thing instead of the circle.

There is a Korean site (I JUST closed it too, I don't wanna check history right now) that SAYS they got the corrupted Ashbringer and shows screenshots and a SS of a tauren with Ashbringer, but I think it's completely fake because the guy with the corrupted ashbringer has !@#$%^&* gear (not tier, not even a set at all) and no guild. So someone with !@#$%^&* gear got a PUG for NAXX and got the sword? Doubt it.

Pics and links... INCOMING!!

Apparently, it talks to you :O

And I hear that the will of the Ashbringer makes Argent Dawn people aggro you.

It is indeed real, the quest for the ashbringer was found by some foreign guy.

What you need to do is retrieve the Corrupted Ashbringer from Naxx and bring it to SM chapel. All the mobs in there will appear friendly to you. You go up to Mograine and he points out that you have his father's sword, and offers to purify it, soon a suspicious warrior full in tier 3 gear comes through the chapel doors and approaches Mograine, mograine whispers.... father...

He begs for his father's mercy, and his father says "You are forgiven, son."

Then his father stabs his son and kills him. Then the Inquisitor Fairbanks(yes, the undead loot pile in the secret part of SM) becomes human and approaches you, talking to you about the past of mograine and his father. How his father was the greatest warrior of all time, defeating thousands of scourge at a time. However his son make a deal with the devil with Kel'Thuzad, to plot against his father to kill him(reason unknown) he led his father into Stratholme where, in the shadows, thousands of scourge attacked him. Fairbanks was scared and he pretended to be dead(feigned), under the piles of scourge that mograines father was laying out.
No matter how many scourge attacked him, mograines father would kill them all. Soon the entire army of scourge was killed and mograines father dropped the ashbringer, and called out for fairbanks. As his father was looking for his inquisitor frantically, mograine came from his hiding place, picked up his ashbringer, and backstabbed his father with a bloodlust. His last words were "Why, son?".
Long after the battle ended, fairbanks emerged from the piles of scourge, with knowledge of exactly what happened, and everyone he tried to tell, noone believed him.
Fairbanks speaks of purifying the ashbringer, and tells you that you must find Commander Mograine's(The dad) son to purify it.
You tell fairbanks that he is foolish, because his son lies dead before you. But fairbanks speaks of another son, the one in the outlands.
