Best spot to farm @ lvl 60 : World of Warcraft General Discussions

i got a lvl 60 hunter ( with skinning ) i am gliding to farm gold my question is what is the best place for hunters to farm but where there are not a lot of hordes ( cuz u can kill a bot very easy ) and a not to busy spot ( dangerous to get reported ) keep in mind that skinnable creatures might be profitable too ( i dunno )

id farm the elites outside of ZF, they drop between 10-15s each mob, i got an epic drop from there once too

i say at WP in trys hand (something like that) in the bottom right corner of the map they are 54-56 elites they drop good sliver abput 30s-15s and ive gotten a good epic off them

ok, this is the master plan for making money... go to felwood and kill EVERYTHING there. if ur a good level 60, u can probably kill them in 7 seconds each. then, wait for them all to respawn, and complete the process again. they drop pretty good grey items that u can sell to a merchant. in an hour u should have about 9 gold in gray items. on top of that, if ur a skinner, u can skin EVERYTHING u just killed, and get another 11 gold. if ur a skinner, and do this for 5 hours, u can get 100 gold.

ZF = alot of groups passing that could notice me being there alot

try in Azshara at the demons at the north... they are not skinnable but i think no one goes there.

try an instance like gnomeran or any other one no one would be there

I Suggest felwood. Not as horribly populated, the mobs are far apart from each other, the drops are great. There are common drops off of them that sell for 5g each.

Azshara and kill the blue dragonkin they drop items money uo to 28s iv had from one there elites 51/53 but act more like 40 eiltes trust me listen to none of these places try them first supfighter@hotmail.com email me if you want more info but iv done this place meny times its a $$ zone o and you can skin blue abd rugged

Dancing Troll Village, Yes it is possible to get to, Yes the drop rate for blues and epics is higher. People dont see you there because the gryphon doesn't bother loading people if they arent really close

very good spots that arent populated much depending on your server pop are imo.

Cave in western plaguelands about half way up the river on the left side. Only place in game to drop Nature pot recipe which goes for 200-300 on AH very usefull in ahn qiraj instance.

the elite ogre camp in deadwind pass (mostly ogre mages , warlocks die v.fast can drop most world epics and LOTS of runecloth)

ogres in southern feralas ( the warlords duel wield and own not vialbe for melee)

north east troll camp in eastern plaguelands ( theres a graveyard pit that if stood on summons several undead trolls dangerous if alone , yet one of the best aoe grinding spots in the entire game with priest/mage) Also a named mob that seems to spawn every 6-8 hours on the tower with a 100% chance of 3-5g green

My favourite is Azhara's beach hundreds of naga and ive never seen anyone down there.

Bit off topic but botting is slow imo best way to make cash is with herbalism , farming gromsblood and ghost mushrooms - sell for 20g per stack. you can make 2 stacks of each per hour with ease. Or farm ungoro and make 20-40 major healing pots and put them on AH.

I recently found out Mara farming. Just kill all trash mobs and the 3 bosses, Tinker, the big croco and the other one I forgot. I've done it around 4 times now (1 hour) and the profit was nearly 20-30g. Not bad for 1 hour huh?

karazhan is a nice, quiet and VERY SECLUDED place to farm runecloth and occasional blues, but also very high money drops... view my thread in the submit info section, the "Definitive runecloth area" it might be under guides soon though

try the upper west end of tanaris...you wouldn't believe what great weapons and things drop there...on top of that the mobs up there are full of silver which will increase the rate at which u gain $$$$$
