These are 4 new quests, one to get attuned, which will be the quests for the Caverns of Time Event. Also, it shows the conversations the people involved with the quests have.

Burning Crusade - Caverns of Time - To the Master's Lair

To become attuned to the Caverns of Time, you must first talk to the Steward of Time ... a bronze dragon you find at the gate of Caverns of Time. Follow up the quests after speaking to him until you get the quest: Old Hillsbrad. Below is a transcript of the dialogue with the Steward of Time.

Steward of Time: Beware mortal, beyond this hall lies dangers unheard of in your world. Tread carefully.

TO THE MASTER'S LAIR

Steward of Time: Ah. We have been expecting you. Please, allow one of my brothers to fly you down to the master. He awaits you below.

Quest Objectives

Speak to Andormu at the Caverns of Time.

NOTE: You must be dismounted. Talk to Steward of Time again, and a dragon is summoned. Enjoy the ride! A bronze dragon flies you into the Caverns of Time.

Andormu (Keepers of Time): We must prepare you for the battles that lie ahead ...

TO THE MASTER'S LAIR (part 2)

Andormu (Keepers of Time): Greetings. Please follow the custodian. She will make things a bit more ... clear.

Quest Objectives

Andormu at the Caverns of Time has asked that you follow the Custodian of Time around the cavern.

Custodian of Time: Greetings. I will guide you through the cavern. Please try and keep up. We do not know if the Caverns of Time have always been accessible to mortals. Truly, it is impossible to tell as the Timeless One is in perpetual motion, changing our timeways as he sees fit. What you see now may very well not exist tomorrow. You may wake up yesterday and have no memory of this place.

It is strange, I know ... Most mortals cannot actually comprehend what they see here, as often, what they see is not anchored within their own perception of reality. Follow me, please.

As custodians of time we watch over and care for Nozdormu's realm. The master is away at the moment, which means that attempts are being made to dramatically alter time. The master never meddles in the affairs of mortals but instead corrects the alterations made to time by others. He is reactionary in this regard.

For normal maintenance of time, the Keepers of Time are sufficient caretakers. We are able to deal with most ordinary disturbances. I speak of little things such as rogue mages changing something in the past to elevate their status or wealth in the present.

These tunnels that you see are called timeways. They are infinite in number. The ones that currently exist in your reality are what the master has deemed as "trouble spots". These trouble spots may differ completely in theme but they always share a cause. That is, their existence is a result of the same temporal disturbance. Remember that should you venture inside one ...

This timeway is in great disarray! We have agents inside right now attempting to restore order. What little information I have indicates that Thrall's freedom is in jeopardy. A malevolent organization known as the Infinite Dragonflight is trying to prevent his escape. I fear without outside assistance, all will be lost. Follow me, please.

We have very little information on this timeway. Sa'at has been dispatched and is currently inside. The data we have gathered from his corresponence is that the Infinity Dragonflight are once again attempting to alter time. Could it be that the opening of the Dark Portal is being targeted for sabotage? Let us hope not ... Follow me, please.

This timeway is currently collapsing. What that may hold for the past, present and future is currently unknown ... The timeways are currently ranked in order from lest catastrophic to most catastrophic. Note that they are all classified as catastrophic, meaning that any single one of these timeways collapsing would mean that your world would end. We only classify them in such a way so that the heroes and adventurers that are sent here know which timeway best suits their abilities. Follow me, please.

All we know of this timeway is that it leads to Mount Hyjal. The Infinite Dragonflight have gone to great lengths to prevent our involvement. We know next to nothing, mortal. Soridormi is currently attempting to break through the timeway's defenses but has thus far been unsuccessful. You might be our only hope of breaking through and resolving the conflict.

Our time is at an end. I would wish you luck, if such a thing existed.

Andormu: Hopefully you now have a better understanding of what is expected of you.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Burning Crusade - Caverns of Time - Old Hillsbrad

Andormu: To the west is the timeway to Hillsbrad of the past - 7 years to be exact.

Forces are working against the Horde warchief, Thrall, attempting to prevent him from ever escaping Durnholde Keep.

If Thrall never escapes, this world - as you know it - will cease to exist.

Gather a group of adventurers and take the timeway to old Hillsbrad. Two
of our agents await you inside.

Speak with Erozion on the other side.

Quest Objectives

Andormu at the Caverns of Time has asked that you venture to Old Hillsbrad and speak with Erozion.

INTRO

Erozion: You must use the incendiary bombs at the barrels inside the internment lodges of Durnhold Keep. Once five bombs have been ignited and the diversion has been set, find Thrall in the basement prison of Durnholde and set him free. Follow him and make sure that he does not die!

OLD HILLSBRAD (Part 2)

Erozion: Our worst fears might soon be realized. The forces at work behind this temporal disturbance are a new flight of dragons known as the Infinite. We do not know where they came from or why they are destroying timeways.

In this pocket of time, they have kidnapped Taretha Foxton, daughter of Tammis Foxton, the secretary of Aedelas Blackmoore, ruler of Durnholde and overseer of all internment camps on Azeroth.

NOTE: This is the first quest inside the Old Hillsbrad instance. However, many a curious fan will skip it to explore how Hillsbrad looked like in the past. Don't bother going west. You will get a blue haze blinding your sight if you go too far. The gate of Thoradin Wall is closed. There is a blockade of rocks on the path to Hinterlands. The Ravenholdt Manor cave doesn't exist yet. To the north, the Alterac Kingdom has a wall and a gate blocking your path. Dun Garok - the dwarves stronghold - will greet you with its gates closed. So stick with Tarren Mill, Southshore and Durnholde Keep for your exploration.

Be careful exploring Tarren Mill. Guards are set to enemy. They have large aggro radius. Guards by the towers and on the road are neutral and won't attack you unless you attack them. At Southshore, everyone is friendly. You will recognize many NPCs there including Kel'Thuzad, Hercular, Mograine, Tirion Fordring, Taelan, and many others. View the screenshots below to recognize the children and adults.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Burning Crusade - Caverns of Time - Taretha's Diversion

Erozion: Taretha was integral in Thrall's survival and upbringing and instrumental in shaping Thrall's life.

It was Taretha who created the original diversion at Durnholde, allowing Thrall to escape.

Now the Infinite have captured Taretha and hold her at Tarren Mill. The diversion will not happen without our involvement. You must use the incendiary devices that I give you and burn down the internment lodges in Durnholde. When you have done this, speak with young Thrall in the basement prison of Durnholde.

Quest Objectives

Travel to Durnholde Keep and set 5 incendiary charges at the barrels located inside each of the internment lodges using the Pack of Incendiary Bombs given to you by Erozion.

Speak to Thrall in the basement prison of Durnholde Keep when you have the internment Lodges Set Ablaze.

Brazen the bronze dragon: When you are ready to fly to Durnholde, let me know and I shall take you.

NOTE: You must be dismounted before talking to Brazen. He will be your flying mount, transporting you to Durnholde Keep. After setting the internment lodges ablaze, Lieutenant Drake comes out.

Lieutenant Drake: You there, fetch water quickly! Get these flames out before they spread to the rest of the keep! Hurry, damn you! I know what you're up to, and I mean to put an end to it, permanently! Time to bleed!

(After defeating the Lieutenant he says: Thrall ... must not ... go.)

NOTE: Go to Durnholde Keep's basement. There you will find young Thrall inside a cage.

Thrall: You are friends of Taretha? So this is her new plan? Very well then ...

ESCAPE FROM DURNHOLDE

Thrall: You look upon me now and see only a boy, but in my heart and soul I hide my dreams. I have plans for my people, stranger. One day, they shall overthrow their oppressors and rise as one. They will break free from the bonds that hold them and from that uprising shall be born the orcish Horde.

I promise you, stranger, should we make it out of here alive, when I have the means to reward this selfless deed, I will seek you out ... I will find you.

(Thrall nods.)

We will leave when you are ready.

Quest Objectives

When you are ready to proceed, let Thrall know. Follow Thrall out of Durnholde Keep and help him free Taretha and fulfill his destiny.

Speak with Erozion in Old Hillsbrad should you complete this task.

Thrall: Very well then, Let's go!

NOTE: Thrall will walk fast, so keep up. He will go to the Armory upstairs, and punches the armory clerk.

Durnholde Armorer: What's the meaning of this? GUARDS!

NOTE: Thrall punches him, and steals some armor and weapons and runs outside.

Thrall: That's enough out of him. As long as we're going with a new plan, I may as well pick up a weapon and some armor.

NOTE: Outside, you get ambushed by at least four soldiers: warden, rifleman, and two veteran. You get at least three ambushes. One outside the Keep, another near the bridge, and after the bridge. Then a boss with two adds outside the gates of Durnholde.

NOTE: If Thrall dies, Erozion says: My magical power can turn back time to before Thrall's death, but be careful. My power to manipulate time is limited.

Captain Skarloc: Thrall! You didn't really think you would escape, did you? You and your allies shall answer to Blackmoore ... after I've had my fun.

NOTE: When the battle is over, Thrall seeks to speaks to you.

Thrall: Thank you friends, I owe my freedom to you. Where is Taretha? I hoped to see her one last time and thank her before leaving into the mountains.

> Taretha cannot see you, Thrall.

Thrall: What do you mean by this? Is Taretha in danger?

> The situation is rather complicated, Thrall. It would be best for you to head into the mountains now, before more of Blackmoore's men show up. We'll make sure Taretha is safe.

Thrall: Very well. Tarren Mill lies just west of here. Since time is of the essence ...

NOTE: Thrall mounts a horse, and gallops away. It is possible to find neutral Lordaeron guards on the road that will aggro Thrall. You have to fight them. Thrall mounts again and rides to the right of the bridge toward Tarren Mill's barn.

Thrall: Tarren Mill lies beyond these trees. The commotion at Durnholde should give us a little time to find Taretha before the entire countryside is flooded with human soldiers. Let's check the nearby barn, then head into town.

> We 're ready, Thrall.

NOTE: Thrall enters the Barn of Tarren Mill. A voice can be heard outside.

Tarren Mill Lookout: I thought I saw something go into the barn.

Tarren Mill Protector: I didn't see anything.

(Thrall tries to calm the horse down.)

Tarren Mill Lookout: Something riled that horse. Let's go!

NOTE: You are ambushed inside the barn. Afterwards, Thrall walks fast toward the Church, where a new ambush awaits. Make sure to drink between fights.

Tarren Mill Lookout: Thrall's trapped himself in the chapel. He can't escape now.

NOTE: The ambush is over.

Thrall: I did not ask for this! Taretha must be in the inn. Let's go.

NOTE: When trying to reach the Inn, you get another ambush by mobs coming from outside the Inn. Taretha is on the second floor.

Taretha: Thrall, you escaped!

Thrall: Taretha! What foul magic is this?

Taretha: Thank you for helping Thrall escape, friends. Now I only hope you can help me as well. I awoke this morning to find myself trapped in this magical prison. A strange wizard told me that I would have to stay here for a while.

> Strange wizard?

Taretha: Yes, friends. This man was no wizard of Dalaran. His clothes looked quite foreign, and his accent was unfamiliar. All he could mumble about was time this, time that. You'll have to find that wizard and convince him to release me.

> We'll get you out. Taretha. Don't worry. I doubt the wizard would wander too far away.

(You will fight Infinity Dragonkin, and then the final boss - a Infinity Drake named Epoch Hunter).

Epoch Hunter: Thrall! Come outside and face your fate! Not so fast! You cannot fight fate! Struggle as much as you like ... No! The master will ... not be pleased!

Thrall: I will not waste this chance. I will seek out my destiny.

Taretha: I'm free! Thank you all!

Thrall: I'm glad you're safe, Taretha. None of this would have been possible without your friends. They made all of this happen. I'm free! Thank you all!

Taretha: Thrall, I've never met these people before in my life.

Thrall: Then who are these people?

Erozion: I believe I can explain everything to you two if you give me a moment of your time. (casts) That spell should wipe hteir memories of us and what just happened. All they should remember now is what reality would be like without hte attempted temporal interference. Well done. Thrall will journey on to find his destiny, and Taretha ... Her fate is regrettably unavoidable.

Thrall: Goodbye, Taretha. I will never forget your kindness.

Taretha: They call you a monster. But they're the monsters, not you. Farewell, Thrall.

Erozion: You have done a great thing. Alas, the young warchief's memory of these events must be as they originally were ... Andormu awaits you in the master's lair.

RETURN TO ANDORMU

Erozion: This timeline has been restored and for now, the assault of the Infinite Dragonflight upon Hillsbrad has been quashed.

Return to Andormu at once. He awaits your arrival in the master's lair.

Quest Objectives

Return to child, Andormu, at the Caverns of Time in the Tanaris desert.

Andormu: Please accept a gift from the bronze flight. These items will assist you in your journeys through time.

Burning Crusade - Caverns of Time: Old Hillsbrad - Ashbringer

Inside Caverns of Time: Old Hillsbrad you may find many known characters at the front room of the Southshore Inn. There are Commander Mograine, Tirion Fordring, Arcanist Doan, Abbendis, Isillien, Fairbank and others. Here Commander Mograine reveals an artifact he found in Blackrock Spire during the Second War ... an artifact that would serve as material to build ... Ashbringer.

Commander Mograine: Keep your voices down. There are strangers about ... Brothers and sisters, I have called you here today to discuss the fate of Lordaeron.

(Commander Mograine lowers his voice to a whisper.)

I hear things ... Things that should not be. I have heard that Northrend is lost ...

(Gasps can be heard throughout the room)

Commander Mograine: We must stand at the ready. I have faced undead before. They are ruthless killing machines, devoid of any emotion or compassion.

(Tirion Fordring nods.)

Tirion Fordring: Aye, I've battled them as well. We are ill-prepared as a kingdom to withstand such an assault.

Arcanist Doan: What do you propose, Mograine?

Commander Mograine: Propose? I propose that we prepare. That we prepare our loved ones, family and friends for the possibility of an undead holocaust. And there is this ...

(Mograine unlocks the chest)

Abbendis By the Light! What is it?

Commander Mograine: I have had this object in my possession for 10 years. Since Blackrock Spire ... I wrested it free from the remains of an orc lieutenant - a dark caster ... It is from their homeworld. Do not get too close. I laid a hand upon it once ... Only once and never again. The memories of that day still linger.

(Commander Mograine removes the gauntlet from his right arm and shows everyone his mangled hand.)

Commander Mograine: I surmise that this object is the living embodiment of shadows ... darkness ... It is a manifestation. It is a void.

Isillien: I do not see how this evil artifact is relevant to the undead. We must destroy it!

(Commander Mograine shakes his head)

Commander Mograine: No, old friend, it is very relevant. Let me ask you this, brothers and sisters: Can good exist without evil? Can there be light without dark? And if that answer is no, then could it be possible that because this artifact exists, its polar opposite must also exist? Could you imagine what the material manifestation of the Light could do against the undead?

Isillien: Nonsense, Mograine! It must be destroyed!

(Shock then silence overtakes the crowd)

NOTE: As you may view in the screenshots and video, all of them start casting Holy magic at the dark crystal.

Commander Mograine: It consumed the Light!

Tirion Fordring: Impossible!

Fairbank: Is ... Is it getting lighter? Its coloration ... It is changing.

Commander Mograine: BY THE LIGHT! Could it be? Could this be it? I must know ... I will know.

(Commander Mograine reaches out to touch the light crystal.)

NOTE: An electric charge strikes at Mograine from within the crystal.

Commander Mograine: I ... It ... It is beautiful. What I felt when I touched it ... The Light coursed through me and I through it ... It healed my spirit.

Isillien: Your hand! It is healed!

(Mograine puts the crystal back inside the chest)

Commander Mograine: Let us never again speak of this day. Our enemies are many. They need not know we hold such artifacts. I have seen it ... From this blessed crystal we will forge a weapon. This weapon will hold inside it a piece of each of us ... And when it is used against undead, it shall cast them down. And in its wake, it will leave only ashes ...

Tirion Fordring: The Ashbringer ...

Arcanist Doan: The Ashbringer ...

Fairbank: The Ashbringer ...

Abbendis: The Ashbringer ...

Isillien: The Ashbringer ...

Hey! I tried out a character using my friend's account and now I got hooked hehe so I'm looking at buying an account myself. They said 0lo0t.com is a good place to go. Is this true?
