Exploit/Hack/Cheat : World of Warcraft General Discussions

What are the difference between those three

Exploit is taking money that you dont diserve by exploiting someone or a flaw in the program/architecture of the game. Such as fooling someone into trading you a Krol Blade for 100silver instead of 100g (not gonna happen) or having the GM replace your character with all items after you "accidently deleted him" etc.

Hack is going into the program and changing code or manipulating the program in some way or form.

Cheat is like god-mode in WCIII. Its built into the game.

Those are my definitions but its up to the persons interpretation

An exploit is abusing a flaw in a game.

A hack is a program used to do something not normally do-able.

A cheat can be a built in code or some people also use it in place of the word exploit.

JMD your definition of an exploit was really more of a scam.
