I am trying to make an AOE grinding mage. I was wondering if anyone had a good guide of what talents to get (besides all frost I can) and what a good order might be.
I am also unsure of wether to get +Int +Spr or +Int +Stam gear.
Any insight might be nice.
Thanks

try to get AOE rank 3 in your talents and depending on your level go to Pirates near Gadgetzan or do it like i did and visit the plaguelands
dont forget a healing friend. Pretty good experience and a lots of nice loot frostnova is pretty usefull too if they try to run away just cast it before they try to flee.

sounds like good places to do it and some useful information.
howa- i appriciate the effort but I was looking for insight from mages since ive seen Int, Sta mages and Int Spr mages everywhere. I think the Stamina is being used for PVP but i could be wrong

all you need is much mana , so just watch out for Int and Spirit, Hitpoints are not that important since you have to grind with a healer
Rather usefull is frostbarrier cause it takes some dmg before they start to hit you.

I have been able to get 7 without healer grinding. I think taking a healer just allows you a bigger pool.
I'm starting to get a little extra stamina for the just in case issues like instances. No healer wants to deal with a player with under 1000 HP

I too have been trying to AoE grind. I just reached level 29. It's been somewhat frustrating b/c if I find a camp the respawn rates aren't that high. What would be a good place that I can handle, with a good respawn rate?

I have a 52 frost mage and my advice is look in the AH for frost damage clothes, and ask tailors what they can make for your lvl, get the best you can afford. in my mind the most important stats for a mage are as follows
1. INT!!!!!
2. STA (so that you can survive being hit)
3. SPR (because it doesn't gain you that much more mana, you can maybe cast a frost bolt or two more before you run out, and if you are makeing AOE you will be using Blizzard which will drain mana like crazy, so you just want INT to get as much mana as possible, and STA so that you can survive long enough to use that ,mana stone or potion)

depends, if you use imp blizzard for grinding you can go for alot of int/spi as you failed when they hit you (don't forget to drop frostbite or wahtever that freeze talent is)
when you gather aroudn you, you should go for +sta and +int,
