Ok, for all you people who are thinking "how do people get so rich" well this is one way they do it over time.

Find a server you like/love and will play on it for a long time (with some friends and stuff) make ALL these chars on the same server.

after that what u do is make a warrior, and lvl him up to... say 35 (give or take a few) Hook your warrior up with mining and blacksmithing and all u need to do is MINE and blacksmith till your lvl 300 in both if u can. get fishing to (very ez with teh bots):)

Then after ur warrior is done make a rogue or hunter (perferably hunter)
and hook him up with some leather working and skinning.

after those make a Wizard with enchanting and taloring.

Now heres the trick, your warrior should be at 300 on all profesions (blacksmithing, mining, and fishing)

WARRIOR:

FIshing is an ok supporter, used for lots of alch recipies and cooking(good for supply and demand)

mining is a GOLD MINE by itself, once u get high lvl ores and stuff you will make big bucks. What you do is you sell HIGH ammounts of copper/tin and the low lvl stuff at the starting cities so u can help witht he leveling of the other blacksmithers and miners out there. u can make some ok money (try not to sell the copper/tin 2 high so u can get some supplyers) after u get the low stuff stock up (and i meen stock up) on the ores and rocks they give. try and fill your whole bank with ores and rocks. Then make a H U G E AH list of all your stuff and u will be set(i made about 400 gold in 2-3 days just from doing this)

blacksmithing is OK, to some extent.. i only chose this because warrior = armor PLUS weapons (i picked this ONLY for the reason of making ur own armor and weapons)

hunter/rogue:

Now leatherworking is a prety good money maker later on. making leather and armor upgrade kits are a very good combo and of course u need skinning. i dont have any tips on leather because i am not that high yet.

skinnig, well this is a kick !@#$%^&* profession and can make you pretty rich early on, and i meen rich. Once u get into the 200 range and are killing lvl 15+ monsters u will get a diff kind of hide and that stuff sells for alot on the market (also the NPCS if u cant sell). this is just a REALLY good profession to get because u kill stuff all the time.

wizard:

Enchanting is probably one of the fastes and hardest things to level. my ONE AND ONLY TIP is to get some good armor, stick with it and disenchant EVERYTHING u can possibly get your hands onto. if ur horde, go to RFC and do tons of runs. my friend is lvl 34 and he goes in there for all the items, wipes it out and is usally out with 20-30 items that are green. once u get high enough u can enchant certain items (this is the BIGGEST money maker out there) my tip is if your wealthy before u make this char and have some money go buy items off AH.

tailoring is just a good profession overall. u get linen and stuff from humanoid mobs so its just a good one to pick for a wizard. (plus bags sell for some good cash when u get high)

Now with all your skills you can send yourselff diff things over the mail and and enchant them give yourslef money, all that good stuff.

NOW if u guys want to take a good road take away leatherworking and take enchanting just like your wizzard, and instead of tailoring get skinning. right here is where the money will get really good but its 100x harder and is very hard in the beginning.

hoped this helped somewhat....

Yeah, I used the alchemy trick and it worked great. I was getting all my alchemy powders back or more. All it costed me was linen cloth, which I never lack of when farming humanoids.

It took me a while before I could get the recipe for enchanting chest, so I could enchant body pieces. Remember to craft green labeled items, as you cannot desynth white items.

It's not a terrible idea but if anything in the long run it will merely "save you some money" rather then make money. I have three level 35s that are 300 alch. (Easy to get too) Why? you ask. Simple. that's three arcanite bars every two days. My main is a 60 who pulls in way more then three arcane crystals every two day so never a shortage. With 1.10 arcanite is hot again. 35 to 40 a bar. Plus the fact the 35s are mage rogue and hunter never a shortage of fun things to just go kill with em. leave em rested and the levels come nice and easy. Honestly if your 60 in a raiding guild and don't ahve at least two or three toons leveling/resting on off raid days somethings wrong.
