I was starting a new chr and got to thinking about using one of the power leveling services.
Yep I looked at other post about bans and was wondering if the servics are still getting people banned?
are there better services than others?
if you did use service say 1-40 did you just end up with a naked chr with no eg or gold? Was he respeced 10 times and will cost a ton to get him working?
thanks for any info

I used it and they caught me even tho it was only 5 levels. I got temp suspended for 3 days.
Power leveling services work fast and hard. But personally if you use it, then you wont know much about your character and what to do in some areas

I used , no ban, and got to 60 in 18 days. Ended up with 300 gold, but I had to spend 100 on new abilities which bothered me a bit, but the service i got the amount of gold promised was atleast 100, so I got 100 extra. I got a mount, however my gear was crappy, but I was not naked.
is the site. (no spaces)

Dude the powerleveling service prolly depends on the site ur getting it from and also the server.Maybe. But i really suggest u lvl ur own char, bcz u will miss ALOT of fun and experience. I had a friend who used 2 level his chars and then sell them. And then i saw ppl at lvl 60 who didnt know where orgrimmar was or where was the Auction House or their class trainer ffs. Even if it takes u alot 2 lvl 2 70, enjoy the game man!
But im not against Gold buying, that just helps u be a bit better lol )
Cheers

I botted a priest to 50 and a hunter to 60, both on separate accounts. Both got banned on November 15 when Blizzard basically killed wowglider by banning everyone I know that glided. Some of the reps at wowglider claimed that they never got banned. I call BS on that. I did everything they told me to do, and I got banned. I made my own glides. I used the recommended methods. WOWGLIDER is detectable by Blizzard. My whole guild (30 of us) got wiped out with the wowglider ban in Nov. 2006.
I have tried 3 different powerleveling services since Nov. 2006. I lost two accounts to powerlevelers. The last guy I used was the only one who was successful. My recommendation is, if you use a powerleveler be sure to pay with paypal so you can get your money back if they lose your account.
I still lost $50 each on the two failed powerlevers ($20 for each WoW CD and $30 for each game card to open the accounts).
If you are going to bot or get powerleveling, be sure you know the risk and that you are willing to accept failure if it happens.
