yeah parry is good so is duel wield i have a sword that heals me and the other sword that does fire damage i go by the name of ravenlord on frostmane server and me and my peeps we love to raid the elf
jsp2933 i have a question my opinion is to use all the talent point on beast mastery and then markesmenship right cause we as hunter we depends are on pets to kill kill killl right?
i trained almost all ( didn't train 3 things) in marksmanship, and now im woking beast mastery (BM is nice but personally marksmanship is the way to go) ur pet is ur tank but u do the most amount of damage. so id say marksmanship then beast
My lvl 59 Hunter, Arrowsmyth, is trained on all skills. Why not? You might not have a use for them now, but when you start doing high instances, and your party calls on you, you want to be prepared and trained on everything. It will make you a better player in the long run
I do not agree that parry is a must, but its smart too accuire this skill. But there is no need for it at low levels, because a good hunter never gets in melee unless your ambushed. Which is ur job to make sure ur not.
And another thing, yes dual wield does indeed suck until the lvl of 50.
Lets say for instance
You have Two 1h axes that give u agility bonus 13 in total...
then use that instead of a polearm that does twice the amount of damage and only gives u agi bonus 6! So when picking melee weapons for the hunter, GO FOR THE THING THAT GIVES U THE MOST AGI, INT AND STA!!!
PS: Good hunters rarely get into melee... Therefore ur melee damage not very important
