With everyone wanting to level up and not knowing where to do it, I wrote this guide.
Leveling with the Horde
All Horde classes start in great areas to earn quick levels. Orcs and Trolls start at The Den, Undead starts at Silver Pine, and Druids start in Durotar. Each beginning Area has enough quests to give a potential of getting you from 1-5/6 by completing the quests. If constantly doing the quests you can get from 1-5/6 in 45 minutes or less. Also, each quest is a good start to earning light armor cash and weapon cash.
All roads lead to CrossRoads
This guide will eventually lead to the CrossRoads. This area is the best for leveling. I Hit the CrossRoads quest when I was Level 13. I suggest you hit it at 15 because at 13 quests were still very difficult.
Starting Out
First off, get all the quest from your starting area done. These quest give you great EXP At beginning levels and can give you good funds. Once done with these beginning quests, move to the next closest area. Get all of the quest done here “I try to never skip a quest in towns, therefore I can earn as much EXP as possible before moving to another higher level area”. Once you are done with these quest try and find some transportation to Orgimmar. For Taurens this will be a long walk because there is no way to transport to Orgimmar. Taurens will find out about XR (CrossRoads) the quickest as they need to travel through it to get to Org. Once at Org. you can sell items quickly and for good prices at the AH. Save items that are Green or better for either yourself or someone to sell. Most Items that are green are either Bind on Equip or Soulbound, so remember that before selling the items.
CrossRoads (XR)
You should hit the XR at level 15, once you get there set your home to the Inn there because you will be there alot. If you have done all the quests in your starting area and other places farm a lot to sell items at AH or vendor. I suggest once done with the quests Farm animals in the Barrens that are your level until you hit 15, then travel to the XR. Collect the quests at barrens and complete them, these quest give anywhere from 800-2000 EXP.
Ratchet
After getting theses quest done you should be at 17-19. Once at those levels run down to Ratchet and collect quests there. Ratchet is a good area to buy new weapons and armor for higher levels, also the quest there give good EXP. Stay out of Booty Bay because there is no use in traveling there until you are 35-40. You should now be anywhere from 20-23. Now head to Camp Tarujo.
Camp Tarujo
Most of these quests are killing Razormane. I used this area mostly for Farming the Mobs that were my level. When killing the Razormane you will collect a certain Red Gem. These can be given to the Razormane in the Cage and you can get Buffs, also he has quests. Farm this area and make money until you are at level 25. Then head to Thuderbluff in Durotar.
Wailing Caverns
When at Thuderbluff go get the Wailing Caverns quest from an NPC at Elder Rise. This is an Instance quest and has Elite Mobs. Head back to XR and hook up with a group of people that are level 25 – 30. This quest will take you atleast an Hour so put aside some time. Get this Instance done and turn in the quest at Thunderbluff. This gives a great reward of EXP and 2 great weapons. Now its time to head to Ashenvale.
Ashenvale
Ashenvale has many hard quests the Rely on having good armor and weapons. These quests will take some time and a lot of traveling. Watch out in this area for Enemy outposts and cities, Ashenvale is a big NightElf area and they will attack you, also this is a good area to raid if you want to raid. When completeing the quests in Ashenvale you should be at 29-30.
This is as far as I have gotten. I would suggest hooking up with some people and heading to Thousands Needles. This area gives great EXP and some good money. I am still gathering Info and will try to create a guide for Alliance Leveling. I hope this guide can help anyone with leveling. I would also suggest you use some of the programs offered by XUnleashed to help earn more money during this time.
