this isnt anything special, this isnt anything new or some kind of get rich quick scheme. this is just for everyone whos tired of trying all of those ways of making money.
mining is the single fastest way to make money at level 70 with very little investment. sure, people make tons AH speculating or getting lucky here and there, but the easiest, most surefire way of making cash is mining.
heres why: herbalism and alchemy are becoming outdated. elixirs and flasks have been nerfed, and you can just buy flasks from a vendor now. soulwells have effectively replaced health pots, so the mass produced pot is mana pot, which is dirt cheap to make now. as for enchanting, sure you could make some money by selling mats, but you have to do instance runs to get anything of value. however, gems have become a major market in the game now that more and more guilds are raiding. thus, adamantite ore sells like crazy and usually can go above 20-30g per stack.
furthermore, if you have a JC friend, prospecting is a gamble but usually will yield even more money. today, i farmed 85 adamantite ore in about 45-60 minutes in nagrand (i have an epic mount so its quicker than non-epic mount people). took that to my jc friend, and got 2 nightseye, a star of elune, and living ruby. on my server, thats 150g. 150g per hour? not bad eh?
so yea, i dont really expect any /yays or /nays, nor do i expect points. im just sharing this for people who are interested

Wrong! Easiest way to make money is roll a NE chick, strip naked, dance on a mailbox in IF.
However, I do agree that mining is a faster way to make money, however, leveling mining is very tedious in my opinion.

Wow non-exaggerated AH prices for farming stuff! I approve. 150g per hour is nice. I used to dual-box and get about 200g/hr doing DM runs til I changed professions. Not going to /yay or /nay because it's kind of common sense and while it's a great money-maker, it's not the best out there.

While mining adamantite is DEFINITELY a great moneymaker, my herbalism nets me significantly more than 150g/hour.
In skettis i can effectively farm the elite trees by myself, and i can clear through all four of them in JUST enough time to catch the first one respawning.
I timed an hour run using Prayer of Fortitude, and when i was done i came away with somethin like 9 or 10 primal lifes, and boatloads of herbs.
I sold all the herbs and primal lifes on the AH and i came away with close to 200g. To make it even better, i got a guildie to make mana pots with all my felweed and dreaming glory and i made even more money -- probably closer to 250 or 260.
I know it seems like im probably exaggerating but im not at all. those trees also drop black lotus's which sell for like 15 to 20g depending on the server.
the KEY to selling herbs, is to put them up on server reset nights, when guilds have fresh instances theyre gonna start. herbs (or pots/elixirs if you've made those) sell ridiculously fast on the AH.

yea i solo those tree's too, but the problem i found is that too many people on my server do skettis quests too often so there are never enough trees up to make it worth my while. best spot for primal lifes though.

mining isn't tedious. bsing is tedious. JC is tedious. just about any crafting prof is tedious from 290-300 and 350-375.
Mining+herb on my server (dethecus) still seems to be the way to go especially with gatherer installed.

Easiest, but dullest way of getting easy money is fishing of course, especially in skettis. I fly to a small jut of land that's behind some red lillies - no mobs come close so i can just sit and fish - easy money, and with cooking at 375 you can make a fortune doing almost nothing. How else can you make hundreds of gold one handed?

You all phail....
The easiest way requires scamming gold farming sites or stealing level 70 accounts, stealing their stuff, and then selling the account.
Scam Gold Sites FTW (even though I have never done it it would be the fastest way)

scamming a gold site is just as easy a way to make money as selling a rare epic recipie on the AH. the action is easy if you can get to that point.

I personally find that herbalism and alchemy are good money makers. I can usually sell 5 bottles of something like Elixir of Fortitude for 5-6 gold per set of 5. All I do is go out and farm the items needed or buy the items at cheap prices on AH and sell the elixirs at a higher price to make a profit.

I win hands down. Im only going to say this once.
Fishing. the high end fish on my server are selling for 20 / 30g a stack. I have yet to put up several stacks of poached bluefish or grilled mudfish that didnt sell. IM banking about 500g per day on average and i fish for prolly 2 hours a day.

Im an elixirsmith and in one hour I made about 12 flasks of relentless assault and made about 300-360g, spent about 75g on mats i did not have so in turn i made about 225g-285g.
