Well, at level 30.. you start to get charged more for skills from your trainer (only played warrior, but I'm assuming its the same for everyone)
I find 1 gold for 10 extra damage on a skill is alot..

Me being the boring type, i dont mind mindlessly killing monsters till my hands are numb, but out of all the monsters ive encountered, level 30 and 31 snapjaws drop the best loot by far.

Where do i find these you ask? well heres the short answer.. Hillsbrad, Tarren mill, there's a river running to the east. Theres about 20/25 spawned at a time, and are all in the river, or on the riverbank.

In half an hour i can kill about 30 or so.

Whats so special about snapjaws? well they quite often drop stuff worth 1s, each (meat and scales) and the occasional green item.. but what is nice, is the drop of "Speckled Shell Fragments"

The shells sell for 9s each! which is by far the best you can get for a non weapon drop at this level range, after killing and selling.. i can make around 1 to 2 gold in half an hour.

There are higher concentrated packs of these tortoises in the shimmering flats, but its alot more risky, theyre higher level.. and dont drop the clams (with a chance of dropping a pearl) I hope this helps and makes sense

This is all true, but when you hunt humanoids with weapons, you can get 30s a piece on their weapons.

Well, when you kill a humanoid (possibly murlocs) on occasion they can give you a weapon. These weapons usually sell for 15s and up (depending on what level they are). Examples are probably are Defias and basically any kind of Humanoid.

Weapons don't stack in inventory, whereas the speckled shells the OP refered to stack up to 5 or 10 (I forget).

Just grind zones highly populated with monsters about your level or a little higher. A good way to get some good loot is to get in a group of three or more and just go to monsters a few levels up.

Level up until your higher. At your level theres no real oint to grinding gold. ince you get a few more levels you should be able to run an Instance or farm higher level humanoids

tault...the problem is 30 dead snapjaws in 1/2 hour is not a lot. however i do HIGHLY suggest these turtles. I believe there is also a quest for them about collecting their meat if you are going to greind them so you might as well get this. it is also mainly heavy leather/medium leather if ur a skinner. but yes...these arnt bad to grind, though you should be doing it faster than 1 per minute -_-

or a slower way but steady money is buying heavy quivers for 20s each and selling them for 2-3g on AH works like a charm
