Hi there,
I sometimes see some ppl do linebreaks in chats like this:
[1. General] [PersonX]: Hi!
how do you do?
and sometimes they say:
[1. General] [PersonX]: Hi!
[1. General] [FakePerson]: I'm dumb!
How do you do that?

when the servers go back up im gunna try and figure out how many spaces in a line. I know it will vary for how long peoples names are so i will advarage it out.

It's nota certain amount of spaces you have to get exactly. Just fill in spaces until you can't see the first part you typed and then it'll look like it if you do the other stuff right

ok, heres how it goes down....
first, to get to the next line, you hold down the spacebar until the line shifts to where you can only see part of what you typed before.
Now that you have that, here is what you type for certain instances.
/whispers [Bob] whispers:
/guild [Guild] [Bob]:
/say [Bob] says:
/shout [Bob] yells:
Ok, now a few things you need to know
1. Dont overdo it, people hate that
2. Dont do it in front of a GM, it is a suspendable offence
3. It doesnt work in chat channels
there you have it, enjoy

Yes it does work in chat channels. And whats fun to do with this is pretend your a GM when your talking to your friends and scare them in to thinking they're getting suspended.

it does NOT work in chat channels, especially if you impersonate a GM, what you fail to realize is that some people have different numbers in front of the channel than others, so what you have isnt always what everyone else has. like someone may have [3. General] and others may have [1. General]. Then after finding out you are impersonating a GM, they will then call a GM and you will be suspended for 48 hours+

It is not wise to do it as a GM, even if u have the fun scaring friends, 1st time a 2 day ban, then maybe a week, then a permanent one ?
You can just have fun creatin fights in between people. I did that a few times LOL.

Yeah, but I said to use it on your friends because you won't get banned unless you get reported. If they're your friends, they won't report you.

I suppose all that's true. But I've done it in general and no one's noticed it wasn't a GM.

also some peeps have mods that remove the [guild] or the [raid] from in front of the text because the color is enough to tell you which is which

i have an addon showing exact time, and class of the ppl writing in chat, + io magnify my chat window, so it´s quite hard to fool me xD
but sometimes, even if i write 100 spaces, it only shows 1 space =/
