... unfortunately I think we all know that the poster of that DB comment is a waste of life.
To field a couple of your questions about how to defeat Blizzard's Warden... the simple answer is yes. It is very easy for a developer with the right knowledge to create (practically) whatever they want and still go undetected. Another short answer is there is no way for any software developed today to protect against code that was executed from an Admin account. Chances are almost 100% that the reader of this text is running as an Admin on their computer.
One of the problems (and there are several) with the script kiddies and "hot shots" that I see posting on these boards is that most of you don't understand how Windows works. Yes, I know.. you can run perfmon to see some stats and you may even know some Win32 API... but there's a special bread of us that know what happens under that Win32 API... how the call gets into kernel32, user32, advapi,... how it gets into ntos... the interrupt numbers... the internal function names of the operating system that you play WoW on. There are even fewer of those few... that know what the non-published function names are in the kernel itself. Even have... say... more information then that.
At any rate there's a world of information that hasn't been looked at yet by you and techniques you can use to get around Blizzard - undetected. Just look a bit harder into some areas into the OS that you probably aren't too familiar with. Bring your game tools up to speed with the other tools that prevent detection. You'll be fine - and you'll give the user's of your software a better experience then receiving a "banned" email at the end of the day.
I like to see innovation in this area and it's time to step up if you're going to continue developing tools for WoW. You already have the creativity for automating game functionality. Imagine what you can do with a thorough understanding of the OS.
You haven't scratched the surface of what you can technically achieve yet.
