muti account ban : World of Warcraft General Discussions

is there a ip ban or anysort of difrent ban if u get banned from hacking or is it just that account becuse in that case i have 5 accounts and if it isnt ip or muti account i wont have 2 worry :lol:

They ban the cc and they might do the ip.

I dont know how relevant this is to WoW but I have a friend in EQ who hacked, he has 6 accounts he runs, he got caught with hacking on one of them and they banned them all because they were under the same IP, he tried complaining that he has friends who play in his house with him. It didnt work though.

He claimed to be cripple and said he didnt know it was bad, that his friend set up his computer to hit the keys for him because he cannot. They banned his account, then he made a formal complaint saying that he is crippled and he didnt know it was wrong blah blah blah plus when the GM messaged him he just got home and was able to answer, so they believed him i guess and unbanned him... his 6 accounts were unbanned as well.

This is all in Everquest though

Blizzard only bans IP if you do somthing horrible... hacking will only get an account IP is like geting it for free or somthing.

umm i just got banned the other day... used a 10 day trial key with the same cc info and the same ip... it worked fine...

Guess it all depends on who is banning you at the wow department.

Ok talking from exsperince ive been banned 3 times so far they ban ACCOUNTS and CD key and Credit card they do not do IPS i repeat they do not do ips.

they dont always ban cc info...

upon further reading.... they ban all accounts associated with that cc info at that time... you can turn around and make a new account with that cc info the next second after you got banned...

i got banned a week ago and they banned my cc too. and cd key. Anyway i didnt even cheat thats what pisses me off so much, mustve bin sum1 else but i never gave my passw lol grr :evil:
