they probaly just traced the IP adress he loged in most on... or his IP he emailed them from its not hard to get an IP tracer. I dont have one but you can get oen.

hoenstly i dont think him telilng them what "programs" to use will help with anyting. It doesnt take that much effort to google a few things to find programs, and im sure they pay someone to look for programs, download them study them and make code to find them....

yeah, it´s our responsibility not to let ppl get access to our password... but that rule didn´t count in school when we found out the headmasters pw and hacked around a little =)

Technically you didnt hack anything. You found out the password by other means other than brute force/backdoor.

Its the mindset of young kids/teens... They either..

1. Say they will kill themselves (remember that girl in the ninjax vid lol)

2. Threaten their own parents by telling them they will goto a Child Protection agency and say they were being beaten etc

3. Lie constantly, with ever changing and even more untrue stories. From my friend stole my account ----- to ----- My friend held me at gunpoint and forced me to log into my account so he could just play WoW with hax
