priest vs warlock : World of Warcraft General Discussions

ok so i just started playing WoW again i played during close beta, I need a little advice, I have a level 10 priest that i I like but in the long run I want to be useful in pk and i haven't heard anything about priests in pk so any help there would be appreciated but also now i remade a warlock to test them out and hes level 5 havn't had any troubles with him seem like hed be fun and i know they can be good pvp anyways any help or thoughts i would appreciate thanks

oh also i would like to know about how well warlocks group for instances and such becuase i know that priest are always needed.

yep some say warlocks are best pvpers, however the priest is needed more than a warlock in a group. Warlock is kind of a second choice for groups, but warlocks are the best soloing job in the game.

Its up to you. A priest usually takes longer to solo level up but a warlock is fast.
The jobs in raids are totally different so you want to decide for yourself if you would rather heal others or do damage to the mob.
I myself would roll warlock since I'm not a great healer.
Its your call but dont take priest if you only are doing it because they are in demand

i think im going to go with warlock becuase the main reason i was gonna roll a priest is becuase i figured once i leveled up a bit id have no trouble finding tons of groups.

Warlocks are MUCH funner to play, preist are just heal bots that click flash heal 1k times..... not fun

No priests aren't heal bots, ever heard of shadow priests? =) they dominate at PvP. And me and my friend (he was lock i was priest) raced to 60 and i won by a level since shadow priests are amazing at grinding.

About that last part "curses take out half of the opponents life" is very false.

Priests for glass sef-reparing cannon or just mega glass cannon.

Warlocks for solo work, 25 kills to 9 deaths in the last battle ground I had b4 I quit my warlock. (mabye nerf soon?)

ok the curses take out about a forth of the opponents health, and u forgot 2 include the about, which means its ganna be off sum

Warlocks, i believe, are ranked #2 in the best PvPers (Rogue Is 1# /frown) But, i love Warlocks in my group becuase of Healthstones so people don't get after them because "He didn't heal me its his fault we wiped" /sigh and soulshards are very nice. I don't PvP warlocks or duel them very much but i know how well they can do at leveling and grouping i would much rather have a Warlock then a Priest.

warlock is wya better unless u wanna heal and only do a little damage as a holy priest. but theres also shoadow priest who can solo very nicely. shadow priest are like warlocks with no demons, spellstones,healthstones,firetsones,summon. you choos P.S. us warlocks own at pvp

But a warlock can heal maybe not as well as a priest but they can still keep you alive. id rather have a healer who does little heals but huge damage then a healer who does big heals and no damage
