Ok, might sound like a dumb question, but first time playing a rogue and im comming from mostly casters.

I just started an Orc Rogue, im lvl 12 atm. What would be a good build for leveling up?

Ive seen pretty good builds posted in lots of places, but i dont know where to invest talent points first so i can level up faster.

All opinions welcome.

solo leveling up would be combat build... work towards dual weild specialization... improved sinister strike is almost a must, dont focus on any subtlety or assassin talents until after dual weild spec. some of you may think this is a boring and/or weaker build for low lvls, but it all depends on how you want to level up... grinding, questing, instances...

heres a good choice for grinding, use swords and maces for this build, just all out sinister strike/evisc... yes its simple and not as high of damage as doin ambush and such, but the reason you would use this build is if you want consistant damage. Instead of relying on abilities to deal your damage, you got good steady damage with swords/maces and can clear enemies at a steady pace. if you pull 3 guys you have a much easier time with them.

if u try to use daggers to grind, you only get good damage when you hit with your abilities, swords/maces do medium damage all the time and high dmg when you evisc... daggers do high damage when you hit with abilities but do LOW damage when you are just attacking which is not good for grinding low levels

Combat Talents (20 points)
# Improved Sinister Strike - 2/2 points
Reduces the Energy cost of your Sinister Strike ability by 5 Energy.

# Lightning Reflexes - 5/5 points
Increases your Dodge chance by 5%.

# Precision - 5/5 points
Increases your chance to hit with melee weapons by 5%.

# Deflection - 3/5 points
Increases your Parry chance by 3%.

# Dual Wield Specialization - 5/5 points
Increases the damage done by your offhand weapon by 50%.

Thanks a lot, this is exactly how im going to do it. Ill grind most of my levels because the rogue is one of my several alts, i only play it for short times trying to get a lvl or 2 then let it rest for 1 day or 2 and do it again.

Constant damage is what will help me at least until i get it to the point where i can start doing good instances and dedicate more time to it when i take my main to 60 (very near, yet so far...)
