For your money making:
Drop all your trade skills and pickup skinning and mining; sell light leather for default price in AH with 10 silver up buyout and copper, tin and bronze with nearly the same idea.
Your best bet is to have your main farming character parked in whatever town your questing/leveling/farming it and have an alt to mail your goods to for puttin in AH. This will save you from having to fly to the main city and will cost less due to the 10c postage charge.
Everything else will pay for itself if you do this, hope this helps.
