Probably known but i thought i'd share. Only works vs dagger rogues.
When you duel a dagger rogue and they stealth just type /sleep and lay on your back.
The rogue cannot ambush or backstab while your in this position he'll receive must be behind target error. Only option they have is cheapshot , dosent last whole fight or anything just helps not taking a 2k ambush opener in the start of a duel.

lol i am a rogue and atm lmao...
lets say it this way
the game thinks of you as the small circle u are when targeted u have a point where ur back is and a point where ur front is.
when u /sleep the only thng that changed is your look your back is still in the same position.
the game isnt that "3d"

This does not work, Your character has a small "center." That is why when someone model swaps and becomes something like onyxia, they still jump 2 feet and gnomes jump 2 feet. If you're defending an AB node and you think a rogue might be coming to sap you or is around, use distract and if there is it will say in your combat log <name> is distracted. or something like that, been a while since I played my rogue but it will display in your combat log.

Lol that would be cool if it did but you would look pretty dumb sleeping in a battleground.

On a further note, anytime you are sitting or lying down and get attacked it is an automatic crit for the attacker.

master, no offense but im a rogue, u can take 7/8 classes, rather than 1/8. just takes practice. Also if your lying down its an automatic 100% crit.... as somebody had already said. Definitly wouldn't reccomend tryin that one.

Standing with your back to a wall can prevent rogues to do any back attack (backstab, ambush, garrote).
